I can guarantee you if you are anywhere near a fps/shooter/'games on high fps' gamer you wouldnt want a va but an ips.
Dont stress, you made a good choice at least panel type wise.
If you're chasing refresh rates above 240Hz, you probably wouldn't want either, save for one kind of QHD 360Hz panel. At 240Hz in the mid-range and premium, VA is generally outperforming IPS, but at that point you also have 360Hz QD-OLED.
This G5 series VA is absolute rubbish though, I expect it's going to get replaced with cheaper OLED implementations at some point in the next 12 months.

The real review is cheap VA, dark smearing. No good for gaming, or scrolling in dark mode.
Bought the 32" recently just for general use, mainly work and study with a bit of gaming, and it's been really good.
Just be aware that it's VA so probably not a top choice for gaming. But a good monitor in general.

FWIW I just ordered the 32" version for the same price (as the 32" samsung one) from Computer Aliance but without the extra discounts which I wasn't going to jump through the hoops to get. I checked PCCase Gear, Harvey Norman, eBay and Kogan for a similar monitor at a similar price and this is the best deal by a decent amount. Gravy if you can get the extra discounts.

Good deal. I just ordered one of these. I don't have Samsung Pay. I told the rep on chat that work doesn't allow Android handsets and asked if they could help me out with the discount. It took ~5mins to get a coupon code and check out.
