    Yeah but Boost is Telstra

    • +1

Yes, but this deal is for existing customers. They will know whether reception is good for Kogan

I am with Kogan and my plan will expire in February. I will just have the cheapest plan for my needs when it expires

    • Yeah but I have issues with Telstra all over the place which I never did with Voda. I’ll be looking to switch back to Kogan next year for sure.

  • +2

Yeah but Boost includes international calls

    • This deals it’s only for people who want/need more data.

If 6.6gb are enough Boost is a no brainer, also because is cheaper.

  • Boost plan can be found for $135, but only 80gb

Yeah but Boost has data free music streaming

    • +2

Apple Music streaming is data free

So not good for the majority who use other services like Spotify, Google Music, Prime Music, Deezer, YouTube, etc

  • +1

Pretty good, though not the best its ever been. I remember getting a two for one Medium 365 plan for $299 a while back. This is probably the next best option I have seen recently.

Also be warned: Voucher expires at 11:59pm AEDT on 21/12/2019. Activation must be made before the voucher expiry date.

Not worth it for myself as my plan expires end of April. I would end up wasting almost 5 months of my existing plan.

    • Mine expires in Feb. Doesn't it just add to the existing plan rather than replace?

      • I think it replaces the existing plan, worth checking to be sure.

      • +1

It replaces. If you're prepared to spend an hour on the phone, they'll refund you the value of the old plan that was terminated early, because it's supposed to add, but doesn't. Learned the hard way.

    • +1

Same - the two for one deal for medium was a good price, and same, my plan runs through until the same time of year. Good that there's a near equivalent on boost now.

    • HUGE 97GB of data – 8GB per 30 days^

    8gb is not HUGE

    • Fair enough just copied from Kogan, I will amend. It also depends on point of views :)

      • Cant believe kogan put that in!

        • ahha

    • HelloHello….Give us a link for more data per mth for a year for less please.. :-(

  • -7

97gb for $164.20 for a year or 100gb for $28 for a month? Which one is better?

    • +3

Do you need 100GB a month though?

      • +1

How can you compare a plan that costs more than double anyway? Also who needs 100gb?

        • Me

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: Ok, but that’s costing double the money. Which is fine because you need 100.
Personally I need between 5-8 depending. So 100 would be overkilling and just a waste of money.

  • -4

$13.68 per month seems a lot to pay for 8GB …

    • +2

Do you know a better deal for 8gb a month?
Agreed is not the deal of the century, but for people that need around 8gb and they don't need international calls is probably the best at the moment.

    • +1

Give us a link for more data per mth for a year for less please.. :-(
      Mmmm… the silence is deafening…

  • +5

    Valid for existing customers

+1 for Kogan, they always automatically apply the new (better) rates to existing customers. Not the usual hoop jumping BS that other companies make you go through.

    • Am I right in that the small is usually 3gig per month and that hasn't changed for existing customers? 8gig is only this deal?

  • isn't this normal price?

  • +1

I have been using more data since started working so I might need something like this when my current boost 80gb ends but that is around April 20 2020 so still a long time till then.. And honestly the international option is cool though I don't need it.

  • Boost has int calls..

  • Included in boost is the AFL live pass also

  • +1

It looks like they have extended the expiry - now it's buy before 31/12/19, activate before 31/1/20 https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-mobile-prepaid-voucher-co…

  • Almost pay for the $152 3GB before I see this. Thanks Ozb. Anyone knows how to get tax invoice once the code is activated? Don't see to see it anywhere in Kogan site.

    • I’m glad this has helped, but no idea about tax invoice. Maybe give them a quick call?

  • Just tried to click through - page not found?

    • Trying to figure out how to port to this from a Virgin plan (i.e. I'm a new customer)

  • I ended up recharging with the "small" 8gb per month 365 day plan for the same price.

8x12=96gb data, but I rather like knowing I can't accidentally burn through it all in 1 month.
