  • How does this work?

  • Great price. Bought it previously around $120

    • how is Tenda's quality and UI? sorry not familiar with the brand

  • Side question please, previuosly I connected my network wired printer to my Telstra smart modem and use the wifi function from the router. Now since I use the Tenda Nova and turn off wifi function at the router, how do I connect my printer with to be ablr to use the wifi from other device to print? Tried with Tenda Nova, I cannot find the printer using my desktop connected to router and vice versa. Anybody can help?

  • I love my MW3. I have 2 and they cover a 80m2 place no problem. haven't skipped a beat so far. setup was easy! from plugging in to up and running 5 minutes.

  • Nice fine, $5 cheaper than I bought a month ago!

  • What is difference 3 Tenda and 4 Tenda (2x2pk) to use more area and more people?
Is that all pre setup as well?

For better coverage. You'll be able to link them all up in the initial setup.

      • Thank you.
2x2pk cost me $119. I hope all works well

        • 3 or 4 it's 30$ per unit

One small quirk I had with my Tenda Novas was connectivity to my Yeelight bulbs.

I've a feeling it's more a problem with the Yeelights than the Novas, to be honest.

First thing was, the Novas have a maintenance reboot set by default which would mean, every day, the Yeelights would lose connectivity and not bother to reconnect until I power cycled the Yeelights.

After I turned that maintenance thing off on the Novas, the Yeelights would last a few days before dropping out.

My house is all wired up and my router in my garage, so I exclusively used the Novas for wifi (router's wifi disabled).
I ended up having to re-enable my router's 2.4ghz wifi (didn't re-enable 5ghz) and let the Yeelights connect directly to the router wifi instead and they've be connected 24/7.

    • Thanks for the warning. I have a bunch of Yeelights in the house and was wondering how well they'd work with the Tenda Novas. Guess I'll pass on it for now.

      • Yeah, it's literally the only thing I have an issue with - I really like them otherwise.
There's a lot of complaints about this exact combo: https://forum.yeelight.com/t/topic/7927

You don't need a particularly strong wifi signal for them to operate, so I think connecting them directly to a separate wifi from your router is a decent workaround and it's been working for me ever since.

    • Aren't that warning for tp link?

      • I thought so too (based on the most recent posts) but then there were definite references to Tenda - and him reaching out to @tendausa for a "security contact"

        (Edit: typo)

        • Is there actually a big issue or is this guy just looking for attention?

That post is 3 days old now and he's not disclosed jack… just a few ambiguous comments here and there that don't mean anything.

    Thanks OP, grabbed a set.

  • Does anyone know why the PATRON20 CODE won't work with this?
