this is normal. it might take a day or two to show up in your bank account, but it will be deducted (unfortunately lol :P)
Do you have a credit card linked to your account? If there's insufficient funds in the primary account I believe then the money comes out from the secondary account.

Not preloaded per se. But they are free.
When you first run the app (may have to download from market if not preloaded on international version), it will let you download both nz and aus maps :)Thanks oswade

Correct, they are actually making quite a few tweaks, including better handling of email attachments and streamlining a few other areas. The only bad thing about this is (1) waiting for them to do it (2) releasing new firmware (all other countries come first for upgrades and (3) you have about 30 useless Tesltra apps that are locked on the phone, the only way to rid them is to root the handset.

None of the Korean versions are I9000 models (SHW-M250x). From a comment earlier, I think someone mentioned it was the HK version.
just FYI, in hk and china, korean version seems at least A$50 cheaper than HK version (somehow). so wouldnt be surprised they do sell you a Korean version (SHW-M250X)

Realistically, when you factor in shipping costs, this offering is probably at least $100 cheaper than any other retailer currently offering this phone.
What about GST, some of us can claim that back, so if you could get this phone in Australia for $600 it will be equivalent to this bargain price.
True, though the qualifying phrase in your statement is "some of us". I'm pretty sure the majority of others cannot claim back GST.
