  • VIC only ?

    • I think it is nationwide though Quick Oil is VIC based. The policy is covered by VACC.

      Service Area:

An area in mainland Australia, Tasmania, Philip Island and any other area that is trafficable by a two-wheel drive recovery vehicle or an island that is accessible by a two-wheel drive vehicular bridge (excluding ferries)

  • Useless, its written that at the time of accident they can tow your can or can not provide you service or you have to pay fee.

I think this is pretty standard for roadside assist. Roadside assist is for breakdowns, not accidents. Accident towing would usually be covered by car insurance.

      • Agree. You only pay less than $40 here, for a flat tyre/flat battery in case you cannot do it yourself or other incidents.

Useless is thinking roadside breakdown assistance covers you for accident damage and towing. Kelloggs need to provide more information with drivers licences clearly.

  • Cheers OP, I just dropped Roadside Assistance from my car insurance policy (reducing my policy by nearly $100), and have taken up this deal: using code: SPRING, came down to $43.12 + I will get 15% cashback.

    • EDIT - Expecting $6.47 cashback, so brings it down to $36.65 for 12 months Roadside Cover

  • Thanks OP I bought one.

  • Anyone tried who is not in VIC?

  • Thanks OP, just picked up a year with the coupon and CR stacking, great deal.

  • Are we supposed to receive an email with membership details after submitting car details rego and groupon code?

Heard back from them this morning confirming my policy is in place now, just took them a few days to process it :)
