    Yea not sure why people would install CFL in this type of package. Slow warm up to max brightness.
    I can understand the use of CFL in a bayonet, but in this type of Downlight it is very outdated.

I do actually like the idea of having E27 downlights that are cheap and easy to replace, instead of sealed 90mm that have to have the whole thing chucked out when they die.

But you're paying for a lot of useless CFL lamps with this deal.
