If this is 20% off normal Good Guys prices it will be a good deal because at Castle Hill, the Good Guys are normally about 20% below Harvey Norman prices….

They probably mark it up before so they don't lose money.

Walk into the store any day and they will give you plenty of a discount.. I bought a LG Direct Drive 7.5kg washing machine for $650 just recently, they usually sell for $750-$900.
Wonder if the xbox live points or PSN cards qualify for this.

spoke to them on the phone earlier, 20% doesn't apply to special or promo items only the ticketed normal price which means a whole lot more ringing around, oh and it seems some good guys stores won't even give you their best price over the phone anymore!! yeah right, like i'm going to drive 1r to and back just for a quote!

saw a Huawei Ideos U8150 for $95 and a telstra Smart Touch for $99 today. Salesman refused to discount it 20% saying "it was already discounted from rrp". Asked to price match AustPost price on Smart Touch ($59 when purchased with $40 recharge), he said they cant discount it any further.
Every item that I choose 'could not be discounted'. So came back with nothing :/

HA ! I just checked their prices. Eg: Canon 550d DSLR at good guys is $1300. Average price at places like Harvey norman/teds/etc is around $990. As usual these sales are a joke. Retailers are just taking the piss.
