  • What time do they actually leave Central Station? Cause soonest i could probably meet is 5:30PM.

Also if i went on friday, does that mean i come back on sunday?

    • You can come between 5:00pm to 5:45pm
Yes, exactly! Come back on Sunday

  • I assume lift passes are not included?

  • "First tour guarantees to stay at Berridale or nearby area." so only the first tour stays at Berridale?

Wow i would go if it was in Vic. U should put a Syd tag in tittle :)

  • Seems like a really good price, but how much would this kind of thing usually cost?

BTW i never even seen snow before, let alone skiing. So this would definitely be an experience for me.

Just noticed the payment page with Credit card, it is not encrypted. Kinda hesitant to proceed with the transaction when it is not encrypted or secure.

    • We are using encrypted Paypal system for proceeding your online payment.
Only name and address detail will be collected before forwarding to Paypal Page(credit card detail will be input here).

      • .

  • So this deal includes transport, accommodation and breakfasts.
I pay for the other meals, gear hire, and lift passes. Right?

    • Correct!

    • Thanks bluepages. Also, what's it mean by 2 people room $50pp?

      • Correct me if im wrong, but Im assuming this means that the package is made for a 1 person. So if you go as a couple, then you will both need to pay an additional $50 per person per night if you stay in the same room i.e. so it will cost an additional total of $200 for accomodation (2 nights) if you go as a couple and want to stay in the same room.

But if your willing to stay in seperate rooms then it will be no additional charge.

        • I guess if your really wanted to share a room and didn't want to pay the extra charge, you could just squeeze in a single bed with your partner lol.

  • A pet peeve, nothing to do with your deal, would you please use Australian date format on your website? It should be day/month/year

      Thanks, we've corrected it now.

  • I am completely new to this, can someone please give me an estimate of how much it would cost for like the ski clothes + gear so i can plan a budget? Much appreciate it.

I don't think this is much of a bargain.. Berridale is about 45 minutes away from the ski fields village and you are paying for bunk beds with no kitchen. I've stayed with these guys before and yes it is quite cramped although the things you can do on the facility are nice. ie. basketball, foosball, table tennis.

You also only get 1.5 days of skiing because you leave mid day on Sunday.

So the break down of the costs are:

$179 for fuel for the car, accommodation in a bunk bed for 2 nights and 2 breakfasts.

For a full 3 days of skiing - try skikaos.. much better in terms of deal packages. Don't be sucked in by the $179 deal since you'll be paying ~$100 for rentals, ~$180 for lift passes = ~$450

Thredbo had deals on for 2 nights (2 full days) twin share for about ~$620pp @ the village a few days ago. Much better deal imo.

Also this is misleading as it says in the description "tickets include?" Please correct this

    • Thanks for this info. Very informative.

    Include sydney in the title

i thought it was for melb (well hoped for) :(

  • .

  • Can someone please recommend a cheap complete package for 2 days (saturday+sunday) for 2 people (shared room) and travel from sydney to the location? Its just so confusing going through all these websites and finding out best prices etc.

  • I have never seen snow as well, will it be a big hassle fly from ADL to SYD and join this group as I live in Adelaide? $50 per person per night?for a couple its $200 right?

I have never seen snow as well, will it be a big hassle fly from ADL to SYD and join this group as I live in Adelaide? $50 per person per night?for a couple its $200 right?

    • If you fly from Adelaide to Sydney you would have to catch a train from the Airport to Central station which is about 3 stops away from the airport. From central you catch the coach.

And yes an additional $200 for couple room in total for 2 nights.

  • what are the ages of the people that take this or is this a new thing? i mean is it a family thing or elderly or young-uns?

  • Can the rep confirm that whether "2 people room $50 pp" is per night or per trip?

Also can the rep confirm that transport will be a "48 seaters deluxe coach"? I have been burnt twice before when I joined several other operators who promised a "luxury coach" but later merely provided a very cramped and uncomfortable mini-bus (capacity about 20).

Lastly can the rep confirm where the accomodation is or whether there are any food outlets around at dinner time.

  • Shame its only sydney and not other states.
