August is the month we pay all the bills, am I the only person so broke…

    • +1

I have car regos and insurances due in APR, Council rates due in SEP.

  • $2450 per person twin share?

We are happy for you to post bargains although you need to provide evidence there is a bargain.

For example on the cruise departing 23rd September the normal price is $4000 per person for ocean view with balcony, typically it is discounted to $3000, currently the cruise is on sale for $2450.

YOu may also want to explain where Celebrity sits on the ratings scale (e.g. better than Royal Caribbean).

Personally I would suggest people do a search on cruise guru before booking any cruises to confirm prices. There are quite a few options for Australia to/from New Zealand.

I would also suggest you look at the on-board facilities to determine the best fit for your group. The larger ships tend to be better for kids as there are more activities.

Absolutely. There are cruise sites that discuss boats down to specific cabins.

The ship, we went on, had a water slide and a separate area for adults. It is worth doing a bit of research before committing as there are a lot of cruises out there. I’m a tad tempted to do a relocation cruise. The issue would be one way plane tickets.

        • Singapore to Sydney or Vancouver to Sydney via Hawaii are on the top of my list.
Problem is they are never in school holidays.

For New Zealand, I'm tempted by the option of one-way cruise and hiring a camper van for a couple of weeks.

@mathew42: Yup, been eyeing of the NZ option myself. Fly one way, travel NZ, cruise back via the coast the other.

There was a pretty good deal for Japan to Vancouver, and I would be happy to travel in both countries, but one way air fares tend to suck.

  • Hey OP, are there any additional fees if you choose the beverage package? For example, some cruise deals give you free drinks, but you have to pay an extra $20 or so for gratuities. Is that the case here?

  • Celebrity cruises keeps getting more expensive. Almost $200/night a person just for an inside cabin (with no extras) is no bargain.

Or you can pay $6240 for the two of you and get wifi or a beverage package thrown in.

  • SYDNEY AGAIN..

  • i wish i don't need to pay council fee this month

  • Not much of a bargain for this cruise IMO you can find better value for sure.
