Wow, I managed to snag some front row AA seats! Thanks OP! It will be an awesome birthday present for my mum. :)

  • Is this restricted to locations?
    Camt do Brisbane.

Is there a promo code to enter?

    • if you are struggling to navigate, just to go to their homepage and there should be a banner. theres no physical code to enter

      • Got a screenshot of that banner or more info? I can't find any reference to a sale.

        • +2

          here you go!
Go to the show, then under the show title you will see 'select a different city' and select Melbourne/Brisbane

      • yeah im struggling to find this birthday special as well on the home page?

    • Go to the site, choose Brisbane, then scroll down the page until you see the $48 under offers.

      • quick update: seems like its only BRISBANE and MELBOURNE, adelaide and sydney it doesn't have that special banner

  • Awesome, got 2 myself for Melbourne in Row A. Happy that they are doing this in the giant tent instead of Rod Laver…

Noice snagged Sunday Tickets at VIC for the Wedding Anniversary :)

  • +6

Nice deal, but spewing Sydney is not included.

  • +1

Thanks for this. Snagged some decent seats for Brisbane that would have costed $160 each. Mrs is happy too so a win win.

For those struggling to find the offer, I only found it after I logged in using my account. Not sure if this helps anyone else or not but worked for me.

Awesome, got seats that are usually $160 for $48 on a Sunday, thanks for sharing!

  • Fantastic deal. Grabbed two seats

  • Also grabbed two front row seats. What a bargain! Nearly didnt have them though as I was waiting for head office approvals :) Went through without it anyway as the seats were going really fast!

  • Nice! Got 2 front row AA seats as well

  • Thanks, got two A seats.

  • Damn, any promos available for Sydney/NSW?

  • Every single damn seat I choose which shows available becomes 'not available' when I try to book.

    • +2

Yep gotta be quick. I could see seats being snaffled even as I waited for the missus to return my call. Had to make a call and book while I still had the chance!

      • the map is just too slow in updating as well

  • Whyyyyy no Sydney :(

  • got mine in melbourne row g

Found it after 5 min of searching. Thanks op.

    no love for SA ?

  • +1

We can hold an ozbargain meet there…might as well combine it to save $

    • That could be funny, i wonder how much of the tent would be Ozbargainer's haha

  • Thank you! my girls would be very excited. lots of row A and B C seats gone.. only single seats left on many of the days. got row D off to side. not sure if anyone has experience in going to circus before but i am hoping off to side on row D will give a good viewer experience.

  • not much good seats in brisbane show. all at the far far back rows or on the sides.
    price isn't bad though.

    • +1

You were unlucky and too late. Got five seats in third front row to brisbane in the centre on the Thursday night. Bought them 90 mins ago though. Still $48 to be in the tent anywhere is a good thing I reckon.

    • Just booked 3rd row seats 2 minutes ago.. although it's only for 2 people

  • +1

In case anyone else was wondering, the show is in Melbourne Mar 12-29, 2020 only

    • Seems like a short stay for somewhere like Melbourne. The Crown saga's must be keeping them busy 😁

  • Good Find OP

  • +2

Thanks. Ordered as a Christmas present.

  • Just grabbed three tickets, whatever left closest to the stage in Brisbane. Still a bargain.

  • nice! booked for melbourne

seems the venue keeps on changing,
    Rod laver, Docklands, and flemington

    • Pretty sure they are all at Flemington as they have been in the past.

  • Awesome! Also booked for Melbourne. Thanks OP!

  • Anyone know how long the show is usually?

  • Scored. Thanks OP! :)

  • +1

Good find! Looks to be selling quickly though, many seats showed as available until trying to check out - still scored two :)

  • This is fantastic :) Got 2 seats i'm happy with and cant wait!

Edit - Booked in Brisbane under the same deal

  • Awesome, got some great mid-week tickets. Did Brisbane as well. Kids would be tired but weekend tickets were being snapped up while I was clicking!!

  • Awesome, got two seats in Brisbane Row G :D

  • Got seats at the side which are normally the cheapest anyway, unfortunately for me my anniversary is on a Sunday which is higher demand

Nice way to celebrate though, I wouldn’t have thought of this so this saved me time and brainpower as well as money! Thanks OP!

  • Bought tickets earlier and got row C! Cheers for posting!

  • Nice find OP. No decent cheap seats left for Brisbane unless you want to sit by yourself!

  • Thanks OP! - Great post!!!

Shame we don't get this in Sydney. Don't forget the $6.95 processing fee on top (that's near 15% surcharge for 1 person or 7% for 2 people) but at these prices I don't think many can complain.

  • Thanks for the post. Grabbed some tickets 2 hours ago. Managed go get section 200 (front view) but right at the back. Was either that or the far side. Are these good? I think it's section 200, row R so at the back but centre on. Seems there usually $140+ each so good deal, 2 tickets for $103.

Not really my thing, but my mum loves this stuff so will make a great birthday present. Shame i didnt get on earlier but was working and didn't get a break until 1pm

    • We saw their last show, 'kooza' i think. I got some discounted tix from ozbargain as well. We were about 2 seats from the back but right in the middle and I had no complaints. side seats are a different story though

  • how bad is right on the side but close up ?

    • Did you check the 360 degree view?

      • yeah I did,
how much do you lose out by being right on the side

        • +1

The last one I went to wasthe Kooza show and they had an act where they performed bike tricks from the side. We were right close up on the side and couldn't see anything :(
Our view was obstructed by their obstacle. Apparently it was the best act too.

It really depends on their act I guess! Good luck!

          • @ttl: Dang didn't think about that! Oh well front row seats should still be ok I hope

  • Are infants allowed?

  • +2

So in other words - ozbargain meetups in Melbourne and Brisbane. I assume every 2nd/3rd seat will be ozbargained from the side views in the first 10 or so rows up the front!!!

    Don't forget your ozb t-shirts!

    • Hahaha. Nice one!

  • Melb only seems to have single seats for the Sunday sessions? Or am I doing something wrong…?

    • That sounds about right, most of the tickets were available for mid week sessions for most Cities :)

    • That is correct it was snatched up hours ago

    • I've even tried all available mid week sessions in Melb. Can't find even a double seat together :(

  • Thanks op got a pair

  • +2

Only got email from them about the 48hour bday sale this morning at 7am.

By then it's all sold out. What's the point of sending out so late.

Ozbargain is 24 hours ahead of them ….geees

    • I know right!

I just looked at the seating map for Brisbane and there's no two seats together on any days.

  • Thanks OP, got the email this morning, already bought a couple via ozbargain yesterday! Hopefully some people in better seats can't go and sell them without an epic markup closer for those who missed out.

  • +1

There is only single seats left with ALL Brisbane sessions

    • Yeah, i found that out about 15min ago too. Pretty disappointed as I was hoping to take the girlfriend to this as we watched Dumbo the other night and she wanted to go to a circus sometime. Thought I'd up the ante with Cirque du Soleil but kinda pointless not being able to sit together.

  • Only single seats left for all Melbourne sessions as well. :(

  • Asking me to sign up to Cirque Club first- is that what everyone else has had to do before being able to see what seats are still available?

    • No. Can see without sign in

  • +2

I already am part of the Cirque Club and have to say historically if you sign in and look for tickets under a significant sale promotion the seating availability will differ from full price.

Most the time you will see most of the centre / prime seating vip areas will be greyed out under the promo ticket system. However if you go into the regular system/site you will see HEAPS of the prime seating left.

Dead giveaway when the event is a year in advance and all the prime seating is already mostly sold out - Cirque isn't that rare!

Same with those finding only single seats - if desperate it may pay to see if the seat next to a single seat at half price is still available at full price. Worth a shot!

  • Every single date sold out in MEL.

  • Time to OzBargain the parking! Anyone had any experience parking around the Brisbane location?

  • Just (02/08/19 11 AM) got 2 seats for 48.00 each (Melbourne, March 25th), row E.
The seats were there for 48.00 when I first opened the page, then I selected a different day (not available), and clicked on the 25th again. The prices had increased. I opened the Ozbargain link again, selected 25th and the seats were $48.00 again. I then completed the order (confirmation received, no problems).
There were other seats available around. Hopefully, I will be able to see enough from there.
    :)

  • This shouldn't be set to expired. I successfully bought tickets on 3RD AUGUST. I just clicked the link again now and it still works, displaying the $48 price.
