      Showing $88.90 for me.
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

      • +2

Looks like it could be SA only. Changed postcode to try NSW, Vic, WA, NT, QLD and TAS and all full price.

        • +1

          Mystery solved. Well-deduced, sir!

        • You forget poor old ACT. Full price there, too.

@robinCTS: Coincidentally I just got home from buying this before I saw it posted here.
There is one left at the Officer VIC branch so I assume it's an Australia wide offer.

            • +1

@[Deactivated]: Yep. Just confirmed it at Bunnings Morley, WA. (Six units available.)

It's a state/country wide special price (orange special ticket).

              • @robinCTS:

It's a state/country wide special price (orange special ticket).

I should probably have written that as

"It looks like a state/country wide special price (orange special ticket)."

since it seems I was wrong and it's not country-wide (or even necessarily state-wide).

    • Go to bunnings mate… Don't rely on link.

    No shit…

      No shit…

You'll need to shovel it in yourself. It's not included.

  • Your user profile says you're located in Melbourne. Did you buy the wheelbarrow in Victoria?

If so, at which store did you make the purchase?

(It's currently full price online everywhere except SA.)

    • +1

I just bought one in the Officer VIC branch. There was one other one left at the low price.

    • +1

Yes showing online but offer available in store. Pakenham got 2 bunnings and both had these…

Thanks for the info. Adds more evidence that the website has a price glitch, and the special is Australia-wide.

Thanks OP. This will come handy for https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/468781

Looks like this is a country-wide special price, valid until 14 July.

Seems there's a glitch with the website's price for states other than SA. I've seen this happen before, with the online price being updated the next day. I expect the same thing to happen in this case.

    • Prices in store don't reflect it though.

      • What do you mean? Did the wheelbarrow scan in a store at the normal price for you? If so, which store/state?

As I mentioned above, it seems to be statewide1 for WA. The OP and Ramirez likewise have indicated the same for VIC.

        1. Yes, I realise it could be regional instead of statewide. That's why the title was amended to read "Selected Stores". Since no one has reported any stores where it scans at full price, and the first store I went to had it on special, it seems more likely to be statewide. Since this special has been observed in multiple states, it also seems likely to be Australia-wide.

        • Australia wide implies all stores. Perhaps you mean select stores across Australia.

Didn't try scanning. Price tag was normal price though.

@jesseboy89: Yeah, you're right. Should probably have posted something like "Looks like this special price is for selected stores across Australia, or possibly country-wide… There might be a glitch with the website's price…".

As for having a normal price ticket, special flags can fall off, the occasional flag does get lost even before being put up, plus some stores are notoriously bad at putting them all up. (One store I regularly frequent has tickets missing all the time, sometimes all of the ones for a certain range of products, e.g. the Philips Hue lights.)

So you can't rely on the fact that a product only has a normal flag.

That being said, since the website's price hasn't changed this morning, it looks like it isn't country-wide. (I'm a bit curious which stores don't have the wheelbarrow on special, and why. I suspect the store you went to is one of them.)

    • Just picked one up from Bunnings Oakleigh. Just in time by the looks of things.

  • Price is correct in store at Rocklea, Qld. They seems to have at least a few in stock on the floor.

    • Scanned price or ticket price? 😉

Special price or normal price? 😉😉

      • Ticketed price

Thanks for this post. Needed a new wheel barrow and just got one of these at Bunnings Ballarat Vic. They were marked at full price but I asked a team member and told him I was aware of a clearance on these. He said they had been told by management that they could mark these down because they were display stock that at one point had been outside. For some reason he said the price is $90. Happy with that. I’m unsure whether every store is doing the same.

    • +1

Ah. That could explain the reason for the price markdown, and why it's not country-wide/on the website; getting rid of stock that's been exposed to the elements before they begin to rust, and leaving it up to the individual stores as to if and how they apply the clearance price.

Should be able to get the discounted price at most stores (subject to old stock availability).

  • Also on special at Bunnings Belmont, WA. (Four units available.)

That makes it 2 out of 2 for the stores I've checked.
