no one should ever apply for Visa on Arrival, its a rip off.

use the official vietnamese government website pay $25 USD and get your e-visa issued within 3 days. no need to line up, no photos, no bullshit

    • -1

Why are you paying $25 when it stays $9 in the description?

      • +5

With this method you still have to pay for the visa on arrival. Which is 25USD. The $9 these people are charging is to simply fill in some paperwork and forward it to the vn govt.

Just use the official evisa application. Pay the $25USD and then get your visa via email. Dont need to wait at the airport, queue up for photo, wait for visa. that process can take up to 2-3 hours if they are busy.

        just get the official evisa

        • We also provide evisa to you at https://www.vietnam-visa.org.vn/vietnam-e-visa.html
Currently, with this Promotion code we want to use for Visa on arrival service. It support to 190 countries for cheaper fees.
It is as legal as e-visa, however evisa is not available for some countries, it only applies to Visa one month entry, and will not be refunded if your Application is not approved.

        • Gotcha! I'll just use the official channel then.

"Vietnam Visa on Arrival, which is legitimated and supported by the Vietnamese Immigration Department, is the most convenient, simple and secure way to get a Vietnam visa being helpful for overseas tourists and businessmen"

Explain how filling out an online application form and then having to go through additional steps/queueing at the airport is more 'convenient, simple, and secure' than using the government website where upon arrival you just head straight to the immigration checkpoint?

        • With our service, you can receive a visa on the same day. As for .gov website, you have to wait 3-5 days to receive it, and you must send all necessary documents to them, such as passport, photo …

Agree with the posts above. Better, and cheaper, to use the Official Government E-VISA that is recommended by DFAT and SmartTraveller. https://smartraveller.gov.au/countries/asia/south-east/pages…

Visa gets emailed to you, and you breeze right through immigration.

This service which they charge $9 for simply gets you ‘pre authorisation’ of sorts at get a Visa on arrival which costs $25USD in cash only (other prices vary depending on visa). You need to wait in line, fill out a paper form, 2 passport photos and then wait again. When they call your name, you walk up and pay. I’ve done both and would save all the hassle and do the official e-visa.

    • Each type (Evisa / Vietnam visa on arrival) has advantages and disadvantages. Depending on the type of visa you choose and the time you need your visa to enter Vietnam, you should choose the appropriate visa.

  • +3

No one should ever have to apply for Visa on Arrival. Not worth the lengthy wait at the airport.

    • To save your time at the airports, you are recommended to use our airport assistant: fast track service.
You don't need to waste time at the Embassy or send any documents, it applies to all types of visas

      • +2

I’ll stick with the E-visa thanks.

        • Each type (Evisa / Vietnam visa on arrival) has advantages and disadvantages. Depending on the type of visa you choose and the time you need your visa to enter Vietnam, you should choose the appropriate visa. As Evisa, of which some certain airlines or even immigration staff at the airports may have not been aware and therefore may refuse it, you should check with your airlines in advance to avoid this. If you choose a Visa 3-month or the border you choose is not on the approved list. You can choose the Vietnam visa on arrival at https://www.vietnam-visa.org.vn instead. Thanks!

I'm not a fan of handing over all my personal details to a 3rd party site. Something about ensuring data safety, potential identity theft etc all seem to have this little black duck over thinking it maybe

    • Here you get a better understanding of visa on arrival, visa on arrival is issued by the government of Vietnam. We are a travel agency, which is responsible for getting the approval letter from the Immigration Department so it is legal.

You will wonder why the embassy cannot do directly Vietnam visa? Why travel agent in Vietnam?

If the embassy does the visa directly with the immigration department when the incident occurs as we said on visa on arrival, then who will be responsible? Who will be fined? Or the Vietnamese police again fined embassy and embassy put money out? No, because the embassy is the government if fined the government to use their money to pay for.

That is why the Immigration Department only makes visas through a travel agent in Vietnam.

About how to make the visa of the Embassy of Vietnam, they as well as we can both make the same visa Vietnam, they also want customers to work through them so that they have additional fees for visa services, costs The embassy staff will process your visa without any papers sent to you. They will only give you a visa stamp order, which is a fee they must pay to the government of Vietnam.

  • Visa on arrival is a visa service on arrival, we will make a letter of approval from the Vietnam Immigration Department allowing you to board and enter Vietnam for a period of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. You will stamp your visa at the landing counter at Vietnam International Airport, after stamping you can enter Vietnam

First of all, we will explain the legal status of visa on arrival and the Vietnamese government regulations allow you to use the visa on arrival to enter Vietnam.
