[NSW] TP Link Smart Wi-Fi LED Bulb - 600 Lumen $20 @ Officeworks North Ryde

160

Saw this one while at officeworks, couldn’t find it online so in store only. Contact your local store for stock availability. I saw them at north ryde nsw.
I bought two of these from the previous BIGW deal for $19 ea.
For those who missed out this is a good alternative at $20

  • Apologize for basic Q, does this need some sort of smart switch or adapter to plug in to?

    • nope, you plug it into wherever you need to, and connect to the wifi using the app

    • +1

No, it is like a normal bulb with E27 fitting. You set it up to your wifi modem using tp link mobile app. Then you can remotely control it and works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home app

thanks, finally found another use for my echo devices.

bought some smart wifi plugs too, but not sure what appliances/devices to use them with just yet.

      • I really wish they'd start selling B22 ones that reflected Australia's standards.

  • Any e14-s?

  • These are good value. Bought 3 from Kmart when they had them for $20

  • Can I turn the lights off with a google home with this?

  • This sale includes the color changing ones? Thanks

    • Colour changing ones are $34 available in store and online

  • Can I control this with the app even if I'm not at home and not connected to the home wifi after the initial set up?

    • yes you can

  • Anyone have experience with smart wall switches ?
Perhaps an alternative to swapping a tons of bulbs over to smart

I've been thinking about going a step further and having my whole downstairs lighting circuit switchable given the kids go off to bed and leave on half a dozen different lights which I then walk around turning off!

      • Hook up motion sensors and turn the lights off when nobody is moving … They'll turn it into a game as well! :D

  • Waiting for these to start hitting 1000lm because 600lm is just not enough.

  • Are they controllable via Google Home ?(lolz, to utilise the recent influx of Google home minis)

    • Yeah they are controllable either with Google home or Amazon Alexa.
