Only 98 specials this week from Woolworths, and unfortunately the specials haven't been concentrated into great ones. 8 x 50% specials, and the top $$ saving specials is Swisse Ultivite Formula. Large Australian Green King Prawns come in 3rd place, with Cold Power Powder Detergent 1kg, $4.49 imho probably the best special of the week. There's also Greenseas Tuna 95g, $1, and Heinz Baked Beans or Spaghetti 420g, $1 which are always handy to have in the cupboard. Have a great week everyone!

        It doesnt.

        It says

        Does it look like a list of 98 things?

        It also says

        Top 20 specials

        It says that twice so that means there are 40 things listed, not all 98.

        If you looked at the catalogue like I did then you would have seen the ice cream listed as a special

      Ever down a diet coke which has had a 14pk of mint mentos slipped into it? You bubble out of every orifice :)

      So a 37.5g pack=60c=14pcs, and 11 orifices, excluding the diet coke, that's a cost of only ~5c an orifice. So with a 53% saving, you get twice the fun.

    Don't forget these have sucralose added to them so even the non diet drinks have that horrible saccharine taste :(

    Hm, maybe it's a QLD only thing but I noticed the Kit Kat Chunky 3's going for 99c each, compared to the "standard shelf price" of $1.90. That's about 53% off. I'm definitely trying the chocolate and the cookies and creme flavours if only because I like Kit Kats. But I wonder if the Chunky 3s did so badly that they've had to drop the price this much. Not complaining, I can't bring myself to pay $1.90 for a piddling 65g of chocolate…

      There are 3 varieties for 99c - it is an 'introductory price' according to the catalogue.
      I swear I've seen them around for a while, though…

        Guess it's all in a day's work for the marketing department—flog it any way possible, and pretend nobody notices what you've done… Well, I'll grab some on Saturday to have on my cheap-ass weekend flight to Sydney (thanks OzB!)
