I got worried and grossed out for a minute!

Then I realised you need to break the seal.

jv can't ruin my ice cream :)

      • hey he could break the seal and put it back. I've seen a guy at my local coles do that with cereal.

        • Lol. Thanks samfisher. I will check the seals and enjoy my ice cream without being paranoid!

dammit… i was kidding… now i'm going to have to check the seals too…

        • +5

and even though no one is asking me

This guy steals the toys from the cereal as well
or whatever they put in the cereal nowadays.

I was sad to see the mag in front of subscription. I wouldn't mind a free 6 month subscription to ice cream. LOL

Am I the only one who hates the magazines on offer?
They seem to be the same ones that every Australian company gives out as a freebie (like with an Optus cable tv connection).

Seriously, I would love it if just once I got a discount on something nice to read like The Economist, Wired, Empire, SMH, The Age, NyTimes, New Scientist, the Times, or even Choice or Crikey.

Am I alone in my hatred of Womens Weekly?

    • yes, every other single person in the world loves Womens Weekly. ;)

      • I don't like it on the basis that it's issued monthly - it's false advertising and I won't stand for it!!

        • Then buy Woman's Day? Oh wait… :)

        • +2

There's a reason it's not called Womens monthly

    • Wired..that would be awesome. Unfortunately Wired doesn't print in Oz and has to be ordered from the US.
New Scientist could have been done but that's unlikely given it is a lot expensive than the other ones.

    • New Scientist, Choice and Crikey = (Y).

Already subscribe to The Age but will unsubscribe if impending job cuts eventuate - http://www.fairgofairfax.org.au/

    • Selection of mags isn't that great. 5 Womens Mags and 1 Bloke mag (Top Gear). Is a bit one sided.

  • The range isn't great for guys but it will encourage my wife to buy me ice cream while shopping as she will take free copies of most of them.
It's now time to find this stuff on special. (and of coarse post it on Oz)

    Top Gear, saweeet!

  • Great deal, but was at my local coles this morning and they didn't have the new Promo packs yet :(

  • +1

Pity this isn't the nicest ice-cream.. has that thin watery sugary thing going on. I'll have my fat filled icecream and pass on Womens Weekly I think.

    • +2

I can imagine Snape saying that

Pass on Womens Weekly I think Mr Potter

  • 2 for $10 in Coles Belconnen, but they only have ordinary packs, not promo..

    • Same at Warwick WA.

  • Damn…I subscribed to Top Gear about three days ago. Haha

  • When you redeem this offer, do you have to provide your credit card details so that they can charge you for a year if you don;t "cancel" within the 6 months?

  • Bought 2 specially marked tubs for $6.79 each from Woolworths.
Only Classic Vanilla was left though.
Still worth it to pay full price for a 6m subscription of Top Gear.

    • +1

Woolworths Belconnen has Classic Vanilla, French Vanilla and Creme Brulee.
      All promo packs are blue.

  • I've been to over a dozen different Coles and Woolies stores and not found a single "specially marked" carton.

    • Wow, Im guessing you've blown any savings in fuel by now?

Woolworths has the ice cream on special this week $5.49 each and if you buy 2 of them you get a free cooler carry bag

  • Great deal, thanks. Going to the toilet will be a whole lot more interesting for the next 6 months.

For people in Perth there is a fair few of the marked packs at the Vic Park store.

    • Toilet? Oh of course, the magazines. For a moment I thought it would be because of eating the ice cream. :)

  • Anyone wanna PM me there code? feeling generous ? :) I've got a code but noticed you need 2 codes to redeem :(

  • I got this today, two tubs for $5.49 each at Woolworths, free cooler bag, free 6 month magazine subscription. Not bad!
