Has been 10% off for quite a time now. Come on guys. Make sth great ! I've bought 2 of this already, expecting more bargain though

  • Got mine last week - a lot more solid and sturdy than I was expecting

The description here says "USB Output: 4*2.4A USB". Printed in multiple locations on the device is maximum output of 3.4A. That makes it a lot less useful and not really a bargain in my book.

    • I always look at this too, and have mentioned it before.

      4 USB x 2.4A = 3.4A Total is NOT a valid equation.
It would seem to indicate you can't actually simultaneously use all 4 USB ports to their full potential.

This indicates a lack of basic maths ability or an attempt to be somewhat deceptive.

    • I have to agree with that. The thing is not fast charge through any of the USB port even type C in upgraded version.

However we have no choice of any other world adaptor of that quality, ease of use and build. Do we?

Actually there are similar units with higher power ratings, for around the same price point, that have been posted on here.

Rep: It's one thing selling an untested/uncertified article, but to quote Australian Standards compliance when it's not is downright illegal.

This device can't possibly be certified as it's inherently dangerous by design with all the exposed, albeit retracted, pins.

If you are unsure what the AS/NZS 60950.1:2015 standard entails, buy your copy here. That standard also calls for AS/NZS 3122 - which your product does not meet as the AU pins are uninsulated. The USB charging feature means this product also falls under the power supply category where you need to meet standards AS/NZS60335.2.29 and AS/NZS 4665, the former covers the safety aspect of the device, and the latter primarily for energy efficiency.

Please quote your certificate and test report number. As you claim to be in compliance you would have been given a supplier number, what is it? Happy to be proven wrong.

  • LOL Australian Standards compliance? That is such a bold-faced lie…this post should be shot out of a cannon into the stratosphere.
