Probs power usage monitoring on these. But wider.
I have a few of these, hooked up to Hassio. They work great.
Are they flashable with tasmota or esphome?
Best ones of all the ones I’ve tried.
Connect easiest, least bulky (well in terms of width and height combined), and from memory, they monitor power usage.how much juice do these things use?
was thinking of grabbing some of these but then realised I cant think of any devices I have that actually power on from the socket. what devices do you guys use these on ?
It's more to kill standby power for me.
We have several under cupboard lights around the house each with their own hard wired switch, instead of going around to turn them on individually I have these Meross switch them all on together.
Looks like it still covers the second power point
Yes it does cover the power point next to it. However the height is considerably lower than the TP link ones, useful if you have a power point in a tight space e.g. Cupboard, cable tidy box.
Probably ok if you dont have the need to use dual power points.
Yeah, this is why they are my go-tos. Until I find a switch that leaves the other plug points uncovered, this is the next best thing. From the ones I’ve tried, they are lowest overall-profile wifi plugs with au pins..
Sonoff S22 are thin enough to plug two side by side.
Is there any similar that you can fit two next to each other yet
The most compact one is the xiaomi zigbee one, can fit 2 side by side easily but the catch is it height can actually cause the gpo switch to off position for some model, particularly the very common clipsal double gpo in household.
Any way to get these to work with HomeKit?
Not that I can find, but the HS100 can be set up with Homebridge - https://github.com/plasticrake/homebridge-tplink-smarthome
I have one of these working flawlessly with Homebridge > HomeKit
These are also quite cheap right now - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/463810
are these as good as the tp link ones?
