  • Bosch SMS66MI02A Serie 6 Freestanding Dishwasher
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Bosch-SMS66MI02A-Stainless-S…

After 20% off, will be $878

    • I bought of of these for a family member last month. a truly amazing dishwasher. Cleans well and quieter that many others. plus the extra cutlery draw helps! paid the price before discount :(

  • Any thoughts on a good dishwasher below $600?

  • Recommend picking click and collect if you want your item within the week. Got an item on the 10th and they still haven't shipped it out because of all the ebay orders.

  • Fitbit range appears to be available. Heres hoping no price jacking.

    • +2

They don't need to, they know Fitbits fall apart within 12 months and you'll be back for another one.

      • Yeah my first Charge HR failed within the warranty period and then the next one somehow got moisture inside and died not long after the warranty was up. Total pieces of garbage…

  • Bummer! Just bought the Galaxy Tab S5e wifi 128GB for $584 from TGG ebay last night with Priority10 voucher. Now 20% off tomorrow. This is after buying the 64GB version from Bing Lee ebay last week for $519. (to be returned).

  • -1

Is Apple Watch included? Or anyone knows a good deal?

  • Damn no Fujitsu air con on sale. Even with 20% still not cheaper than Bing Lee 20%

  • Would any good samaritan be able to tell me which tablet I should go for? They're priced the same which is confusing me…
    NEW Samsung SM-T590NZKAXSA Galaxy Tab A 10.5" 32GB Wi-Fi - Ebony Black - $349
    NEW Samsung SM-T510NZKDXSA Galaxy Tab A 10.1" 32GB - Black - $349
Why wouldn't I go for the bigger 10.5"? and whats with the 0.4" difference?!

    • I went with the 10.1 as it's the newer 2019 model

    • +2

The 10.1 is newer, has a better processor but less RAM. Though overall performance is apparently better on the newer model.

10.5 version has more speakers but slightly thicker bezel. 10.5 also has a bigger battery (7300mAh vs 6150) but older OS (8.1 vs 9 pie)

    • +1

I have the 10.5. It is less than a month old and the sd card tray has already broken. The card tray is removed from the tablet to place the card. It is the flimsiest I have ever seen and is not fit for purpose.

Samsung want the whole tablet shipped back to them.I have spent 3 hours on the phone, attempting to get them to send this 10 cent part, and save everyone time and money. I finally got a supervisor who is going to try and help my cause.

Not sure whether the 10.1 has this design failure.

    • I had the same dilemma. Looking at the performance the 10.1 was significantly better at the same price. The only issue is the base 32gb model only has 2gb ram compared to 3gb in the 10.5 version (although faster ram in the newer model). I was going to get the base model but Bing Lee had the 10.1 3gb 128 model for $419 last week which worked out to $335 with discount. As I was going to buy a microsd card anyway, I justified the extra cost and it o ly worked out a little more expensive plus I got 1gb extra in team which I thought would be better for longevity and updates to Android.

      • ditto
I got the 128gb as it was 3gb ram

  • -1

Just got something with receipt on the 1st of June and now its $90 cheaper :(

  • +1

Have a kitchen renovation coming up- i see the recommendation on the dishwasher, any on an electric cooktop and/or oven?

    • +1

Bosch are a great brand with great products lately. Their ovens are a bit pricey though, depends on budget!

    • +1

Check out the LG dishwashers too, ended up getting one after a bunch of research an really happy with cleaning using basic Woolworths tablets.

    • Love our Neff oven with door that retracts into the unit. Not sure if GG has tho.

Love our F&P oven gas cooktop, just fat enough without being flush with the benchtop. Westinghouse rangehood great.

Check out Winning Appliances first, and pretty sure they price match.

  • Hope they have Apple Pencil 2

  • -5

Don’t forget the PRIORITY10 voucher code for an extra 10% on any eligible items. I just used it yesterday to get the 10g Kindle Paperwhite for $161.10 click and collect. Sweet deal!

    • +2

      So they stack?

      • -3

Yep got it reduced from $179!

  • +1

Whew! was waiting for one of these sales, but it took too long to come up so just bought a washer and dryer from DFO, (E&S Essendon), started to panic when i saw this post… but I bought:
Bosch i-dos washing machine - WAW28620AU 1250 bux delivered and installed (made in Germany),
and the Bosch 9kg heat pump dryer WTW87565AU (made in Germany) including the stacking system WTZ11310 for 1200 (1100 after cash back on) delivered and installed.
    total price 2350.

    total price at the good guys ebay - WITH 20% off - washer= 1547+54.94 del + 1499+54.95 del = 3155.89 -20% = 2524.71,

so E&S still ends up being almost 175 cheaper. (without the discount, but with a bit of arm twisting!)

Edit: actually if you can still claim the cash back from bosch for the good guys purchase, good guys would only be 75 bux more…
    https://www.bosch-home.com.au/promotions
    still not cheaper though…

that said i was lucky as they had a promo on for free delivery and install (and removal of my old goods). the guys at E&S where also much friendlier than the guys at good guys (though they weren't too bad) - still very impressed with the E&S guys. (no i'm not associated with either of them! :P )

    • So how is the Bosch Dryer (WTW87565AU)??

      • I'm keen to know too. Looking to upgrade from our small Aldi dryer.

$1500 seems insanely high price for a dryer though.

        • +1

pays for itself over a few years over a conventional dryer, (i only paid 1,100 due to negotiations.). - this was mostly the reason i upgraded and just didin't keep repairing my old one… just wasn't worth the money.
easily uses less than half the energy of the old one per load. (given these are 7 starts efficiency)

this should give you a bit of an idea.
          https://www.canstarblue.com.au/electricity/how-much-energy-d…
(although keep in mind this is a 9KG unit and seven stars, not 8KG and 6 star)

probably saves us over 200 per year pretty easily, 5-6 year pay off worst case - and possibly a year or two over a non heat pump unit.

one of the best things is you don't need a window open (or to vent out) - or it doesn't make your walls wet, all the water is captured in the unit.

the bosch stuff takes a little while to get used to because there are so many programs, I think the wife just sets it to cotton and extra dry - so probably not using it the most efficient way, its also strange how you need to empty the water out of it or connect a drain pipe, (can use the water in the iron which is kinda cool) - the manual is pretty large.

fairly quiet, but louder than quiet units, the heat pump has a bit of a noticeable noise. (but our last one used to squeak and grind as the bearing went.)

given our last dryer was over 10 years old, and had the broken bearing - and was just a cheapie, we're possibly not the best ones to ask how it goes in regards to different current models, (I got the dryer to match the washer, as the washer scored top points on all the review sites i found)

but id recommend the bosch stuff, specially as its made in Germany and is supposed to be of higher quality…

final thoughts are just to go back to the price, as i said, its going to pay for itself over a conventional dryer. just think of it this way, if you use the dryer heaps, it will pay for itself in saved energy bills, and then earn you money over a conventional dryer, if you dont use it that much it will probably pay for itself over its 10-15 year life still. IE pay more now, and you basically get it for free in saved energy costs.

          • @wisc: Cheers for the info. Not sure the payback would be as good for us because we only dry 1-2 loads a week in winter.

    • Well the dryer is actually made in Poland not Germany.

I am getting the dryer and will be picking it up so no need for delivery.

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/123298266858

      • interestingly the sticker on them says made in Germany. Guess you'd probably still say the quality is better then those made in India and China (where the other Bosch models are made) regardless of weather it was Poland or Germany and considering these are the models that demand quite a few hundred more than the models made in India and China, (supposedly the countries that produce higher quality goods.)

I was looking at picking it up, but with the free delivery for mine, there wasn't much point. so much time and effort saved - specially considering they hooked it up and tested it and wouldn't have to claim warranty if there was an issue out of the box(interestingly they would return it and get you a new one, guys in store said it would need to go though warranty if you set it up yourself)

oh, and removal of the old units was also cool, that said, they where probably worth something, even if only scrap metal at a minimum.

  • +1

    Damn, need a TV.

  • Anyone ever tried price matching on their eBay store by sending them a message?
Eg. price match against JB Hi-fi

    • You want TGG to match JB and then take a further 20% off? Good luck!

  • Checked out the ring 1 doorbell plus the chime. No c&c. Delivery included comes to $218.52.

After discount code at $174.8, would this be still worth it?

  • Click & collect shows out of stock on ebay but their website shows in-stock ready for pickup so forced to pay $80 delivery fee, I call BS and TGG needs to fix this.

  • -1

What I am doing wrong :( Need D3500

    EBay_store@899

    On their website @599

    • Price on eBay is showing as $599 now. Quick!

  • +1
  • Last time I bought from TGG Ebay Store, it took over a month to get my order. Couriers Please claim TGG gave them the wrong address (Street name right, but street number missing the first digit). TGG said they gave Couriers Please the correct address, and it was their fault. When speaking to Couriers Please they told me, TGG sent the package so needs to correct it. Spoke to TGG Ebay Team, they told me I needed to talk to the Loganholme store, as it was shipped via them. The Loganholme store said I needed to speak to the Ebay store, as they took the order. A huge mess, where no one wanted to take responsibility, and will be very wary of ever ordering from them again.

CSV of all their current products with prices: Google sheets

    • Some things that stand out to me:

      • The Nest products
      • The Samsung Galaxy Note 9
    • Thats great! How did you make it?

      • Probably a python based web scraping script or something.

  • Those who bought in previous sales, how does the delivery work? Do they provide installation? Looking for a washer..thanks.

  • +2

Anyone know why I can’t see any discounts? I need a microwave

Edit : never mind. Starts at 10. I’m an idiot

Keep getting the error 'This code can't be applied to your order.'

  • Anyone else getting an error on check out?

    • Yep…

      • Looks like it might be due to 'stock-outs' at the store you are clicking and collecting from - errored like 10 times at the same store, then I chose one further away and it went through.

        • Yep you were right, thanks

  • No shipping to TAS for anything remotely bulky, even though it gives a postage cost on each listing.

  • Finally got around to picking up that Chromecast Ultra i've been meaning to get! Coupled with an ebay voucher from when ebay were randomly giving away $20. Mmm yay!

Anyone tried haggling their sales staff down, based on their own eBay sale prices?

  • Great timing, saved $999 off a Bosch cooktop less $500 cashback. $3577 total vs $5999 RRP.

  • Just a heads up to anyone in a rush, Looks like they are having technical issues - I ordered at 10:50am this morning and it was showing same day click and collect at 2pm. Still haven't received my pickup email/sms. Called the store and apparently the Web Team is having to manually process orders one at a time and it may take 24 hours…

    • I'm in the same boat, I needed my dryer today and no email or call to tell me to pick it up.

I called the store and they said nothing has come thru.

      • I've picked mine up.

  • Trying to decide between Bosch washing machine WAP28482AU vs WAW28620AU. Lot of good reviews for WAW28620AU but can’t find any reviews for WAP28482AU. Can anyone help me whether it's worth spending $548 more for iDos and few other minor features. I can't see any other major differences.

    https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/CompareProductsDisplayView?st…
