Have a 5s as a backup phone runs quite slowly with all apps and takes quite a bit of time to open basic apps such as the Messages app and the camera. Would not be able to handle day to day use unless you do minimal things on it.

you can get an android xiaomi phone for about this price or less
and will be much more powerful and faster than this phone
and it will also have more storage than this crappy 16gb which is not as much left after subtracting the operating system storage size
2 days? u must of not ever used it much.. had the same fone, batery lasted 4-5 hours usage

very outdated specs and no longer supported by Apple
16gb is only a handful of apps these days after the usable space is chewed up by OS etc.

I saw another seller the other day say "Apple warranty" but the fine print said they offer an equivalent warranty to Apple (i.e. I couldn't take it to Apple).

Agree. Outdated phone. Although 1gb ram/16gb storage is still usable on a phone like this. I still use an original iPhone 5 with these specs and it's fine. Just find the 16gb and 4" screen size quiet small. Can't imagine trying to use the old iPhone 5c with 8gb storage.

if you're lucky you might find an iphone 4 for under $200! It's only 9 years old, still good.
