    Generous battery life ????

    • They could be using some type of memory that is lower power.

      Its sandisk advertising spam.

      Be that as it may, $80 is about avg. for a 480gb unit these days?

      I think they're as low as $70 on ebay? albeit using a coupon.

  • Link please

  • I think "NEWEST VERSION" isn't a good thing.

    G25 = MLC
    G26 = TLC

    • I was wondering that, but I would want to see a quality review before buying.

    SanDisk is owned by WD. Solid state not it's home turf

    • SRAM is SD’s home turf. WD bought SD.

    after cashback the much better Samsung 860 evo is only ~$20 more

    • Not even, only $6.61 more =) (see here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/455771)

      Virtually same cost per GB, 17.24c/GB (samsung 860 evo) vs ~16.57c/GB (ssd plus), so both ~17c/GB, but the 860 evo has vastly superior performance endurance, and warranty.

      • yep, my bad.. should have been before cashback :)

        Ive ordered a couple of those Samsungs already
