Malaysia Airlines is running a special companion fares promotion until 19th April. This is how it works:
You need to use promo code TWO2GO on the airline website HERE
You must be searching for two, four, six or eight tickets
Business Class fares will be discounted by up to 40%
Business Suite (the renamed First Class) fares will be discounted by up to 35%
As well as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Airlines has good connections to Australia, Thailand, Bali, the Philippines and elsewhere in Asia.
Remember that you earn Avios and British Airways tier points and Qantas points when you fly with Malaysia Airlines as both are members of the oneworld alliance.

    its actually a 737 Max and Malaysian airlines run the older 737 800 :) … no airline currently are flying the 737 Max all grounded until fixed.

      Agree, being a national career, Malaysia government should bail it out.

      ironically the closing down news came a day after Malaysia Airlines won the ‘Best Airline in Asia’ award at ITB Berlin

  I cannot seem to find any flights that are on special when searching. Tried with and without the code and the same price shows up.

    Same here tried Sydney to Osaka, Tokyo, Bali, Koh Samui, Langkawi … same price with and without codes.

      Too much time has been wasted try-and-error to find a flight with companion fare. So far all failed if you start from AU, including Sydney to KUL. The reverse (KUL to Sydney) works. My conclusion is that this promo is not for Australian residents. Post it on MalayBargain.

  Good deal bht only really works in between asia flights anything from AU is normal price.
