Seems to be a good price. Same product $329 on appliances online.

Just buy re-usable pods and buy your own coffee to use with them, works a treat and is so much cheaper than buying pods.
I use these and they work a treat.
doweyy knows his stuff ;)
…re-caps are a must for this machine…still loving this purchase…use it everyday. best $28 i reckon i ever spent in the kitchen! (…thanks to doweyys awesome amazon sale post last year)
I noticed when using reusable ones they tend to leak out
I've been keeping an eye out for a recommendation on re-usable pods! Out of interest, where do you buy your coffee from to use in these pods?
I personally bought some beans from Amazon and got a friend to grind them for me, you can also just buy pre-ground from any coffee roaster if you want, it still ends up saving heaps of money and is better for the environment!
@doweyy: Good to know! I'll have to keep an eye out for milk powder to use in these also… apparently soy isn't available so the missus has been missing out!
I don't really get Dolce Gusto pricing strategy. Eclipse machine alone sells for $349 in their website but $149 machine bundle with mocha.

Are they putting high price to attract customers with high % sales?
They are just looking for suckers
The pods are expensive.
What's a good price for pods? These one are 16 for $8.50 in Coles at the moment. I don't understand the ones with creamer and sugar though, is that just essentially like those sachets you get?
Yes, $8.50 for 16 cups. Some requires 2 pods, so that $8.50 for 8 cups.
Anything less than 50c per pod is a pretty good price
I pickedup OBLO at reject shop clearance for $19 along with 6 caps. Ordered reusable caps with new hexagon design from aliexpress along with tamper for about $20. Also contemplating buying the k-fee adapter for dolce that'll allow using any k-fee pod from Aldi.
Have you the link for the kfee adapter, thanks
Are the k-fee pods any good?
No clue. Haven't tried. But many k-fee compatible options available at Aldi, Coles and Woolworths.
K-fee pods (ie Aldi Expressi Pods) are alright. As far as pod coffee goes anyway.
Buy it on eBay, add something to use coupons 5 or 10 % off
I see there are 2 different names on eBay
Both Nescafé Dolce GustoEclipse but ones platinum automatic and the others edg 736S. What’s the difference ??TGG had it for $49. Price aside,
Personal experience, DO NOT BUY IT.
Bought one for office, use it daily, average 3-4 people 1-2 cups per day. Machines stopped heating water after about 6 month. Sent back, waited for 2 months, got it replaced, TGG was very helpful when dealing with manufacture btw. Then got replacement on a Friday, opened it up and tried. Machine’s brand new and in DOA status. Took it back to TGG, floor staff was surprised too. Definitely not worth the money and the fuzz. Try something else.
Got one, the issue is the "quality" of the coffee, and the fact the coffee pods are NEVER on special
Just buy a Nespresso…
