Thought this may be a good deal for some who want to or use optus prepaid. I plan to use the sim in another phone as I lost my other sim, then have this phone as a cheap backup. Thought this was better value than buying a standard optus prepaid starter back.

    Only 99c cheaper that the standard price any Optus dealer in AUS would be selling it for. And it's $17.99 on the Optus Website anyways. Not a bargain sorry.

    Yep, after posting this deal I have just been out shopping, and seen harvey norman selling it for 19.99 as the standard price. It seems that all new optus handsets have the $100 bonus credit applied. So sorry guys, not really a bargain.
