The SE-MS7BT headphones utilize Hi-Res capable large 40mm drivers that are fitted perfectly to the wide cushioned ear cups. The SE-MS7BT has controls built into the headphones. But don’t panic when the SE-MS7BT battery runs down, Pioneer has you covered with the included wired cable that allows you to continue listening.

Key Features

Enjoy wireless music and calls with the ease of Bluetooth
Manage music and phone calls using the built in controls and microphone. Simplify the pairing process by using NFC, and listen to high quality audio by using aptX. The built-in battery supports up to 12 hours of continuous use, and when the battery runs down, you can use the included headphone cable to continue listening to music in Hi-Res*1 quality.

Large 40mm drivers for clear high quality audio
With the utilization of powerful magnets, the 40 mm driver produces ample lows and the light weight CCAW voice coil reproduces Hi-Res frequencies for enjoyment of Hi-Res audio1.
(The SE-MS7BT requires using the included headphone cable to enjoy Hi-Res
1 audio)

Wide cushioned headband earpads
Attention to details was made when designing the headband and earpads. With the design of a wide headband, the weight gets distributed to a larger area by dispersing weight evenly. The earpads are designed to fit a variety of head shapes along with the design of the curve behind the ear to be ergonomic so it creates an even seal all around the ear for a good fit.

  • Seems like a good deal, anybody here have them?

  • I am having a hard time finding which APTx profiles this thing supports.

I thought these competed favorably with the COWIN E7 Pro during an initial test, but when I went to do a subsequent more detailed comparison, my dick fell off.

  • I was contemplating these. Went for Bose instead.

Bought and added to my overflowing collection of headphones. Lol. Came here and saw the deal posted already. JB Hifi at galleries victoria, Sydney CBD is doing a 20 to 30 percent discount on their entire headphone collection if any is interested. Will post a detailed comment after i try these out. Thanks.

    • So what's the verdict?

Here is my short review. I used it for around an hour today.

Unlike how they are depicted in the photographs, the ear pads of these headphones are huge. They should fit comfortably around the ears for almost everyone. The earpads do not rotate vertically or horizontally. They are set at an angle to fit perfectly. Except that you can rotate them or fold them to throw into your backpack. The earpads are decent and should be able to wear them comfortably for hours together.

The volume, track and call controls are unusual compared to the usual controls on other Bluetooth headphones. So they need some time to get used to, especially if you were using other brands of Bluetooth headphones.

I used them indoors and I am satisfied with the wireless sound quality. There is no mindless bass. There is enough but not overwhelming details in the mids and highs. You should be able to use them comfortably.

I am surprised to find that they support Hi-Res Audio in wired mode and also support Qualcomm APTX at this price range.

They come with a 1.2m cable with no mic to use in the wired mode when you run out of battery and also a micro USB to USB cable to charge.

Overall, I feel they are great value for money at this discounted price.

I am unable to edit my comment. "Except that you can rotate them or fold them to throw into your backpack" is incorrect. What I mean is you cannot rotate them.
