4:3. Wrt changes made, they've redone the crystalline entity as the old CG files were gone, and they've given some of the planets more detailed textures.
Quite sure this is correct, though Amazon does list this boxset at 16:9 (probably generic for blu-ray or based off special features). I have vague memories of a wide-screen TNG release for whatever reason but can't find anything about it online.
It is. I purchased the seasons as they were individually released and have watched them all. The picture quality is amazing, and they haven't taken liberties with the material. (I'm looking at you, Buffy HD remaster…)
