    They can be, but in my experience, Kathmandu clothing is mostly well made and lasting. E.g. i've had 2 pairs of these -> https://www.kathmandu.com.au/outlet/barga-men-s-zip-off-trou… <- and they've literally just ripped within a couple months of each other, after 9 years of wear. That's pretty good bang for buck.

        That's a shame, if that's the case. I haven't bought anything from them in the last 5 years…I used to get excellent deals on everything as my step sister used to manage one of their stores.

      Same. Have 2 pairs of Clarks, worn nearly every day for over 2 years….just starting to lose some stitching. Just bought a pair of Bargas for $48. There isn’t any similar in the market for that price.

          @ScottyP: Comes down to about $44 with 8% off gift cards (via Suncorp)….and maybe another $2 off if it gets thru cash rewards (payment via gift card might make it ineligible)
