  According to the service manual, https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/inspiron-15-3585-laptop_serv… , it does display a M.2 port (mentions both NVMe and SATA).

Thanks for posting the deals OP.

For the Ryzen laptop, to maximise performance, one will need to either upgrade the RAM to 16GB (replace the 4GB RAM stick with 8GB), or downgrade to 8GB (replace the 8GB stick with 4GB) to enable dual channel memory mode. Also upgrading the HDD with a SSD is also recommended.

It just baffles me on why Dell does 12GB to break the dual channel mode (perhaps to mislead consumer to think it is better). An okay deal for the price and for those needing one now, but for those not needing a laptop urgently to wait for another Lenovo Ryzen deal, or Dell Inspiron 15 5575 Ryzen deals.

  Yeah, great comment. I look at that its specs, no SSD and a weird 12gb and thought it was very odd for a high-end laptop.
