Listing states it's brand new. Free delivery.

Still wondering if I should buy it, or buy a cheapie one mentioned here

It is actually the 2nd generation

  • Good find.
I bought this pen last week from this guy to be used for my daughter's Surface pro 4, and so far it has been been working perfectly fine.
The package says it is compatible with Surface 3 and surface pro 3, but it works fine with my surface pro 4.
It took around 4-5 days for the delivery to Perth

    Is the ink replaceable?

  • I bought the recertified one $35 from eBay factory_plus years ago, so far no problem.

  • Thanks OP . good find . got one.

The newer pen leaves this one for dead. It detects around 20x more levels of pressure. I easily haggled JB down to $107 on the spot. For less than 40 bucks more you get a lot more product. And if you have TGG commercial membership, you’re laughing.

Yep it's all detailed in the last link, pretty cool blog post. I've got a surface 3 so don't need the latest fancy version, but agree

      • Fair point. If you have an older model, no point forking out the extra dosh.

  • Does a surface pro 4 pen work on surface pro 3?

    • Yes, see last link in my post
