        It's extra funny when people sign up to have an account under someone else's 365 to get access to OneDrive. Not realising that whoever has the tenancy has full access to their data.

          @Clear: Oof! That is a disaster waiting to happen, although I hope you don't mean the legitimate family plans? I'm pretty sure just because you invite someone doesn't mean you get access to their cloud.

                @Skullytor: Buying/downloading dodgy office such as "Office 365 Professional Plus for 5 Users" is opening yourself up to getting compromised. Basically someone has an Office 365 tenancy with a heap of licensed email accounts and they're giving you access to one of them. As the tenancy administrator they can grant themselves full access to the account including its emails and OneDrive shares.

                    @Skullytor: Massgrave is technically piracy as you're not using a genuine purchased Windows license. Rather it's an exploit used to send a certificate to the Microsoft servers that register your HWID as valid.

                    Fortunately MS don't care about the average home user. If you were a business there's the chance of audits. Especially if you have VL and CALs.

      I subscribe for the Cloud storage and see the software as a bonus
