Nice just what I need thanks OP

  • Can i use this to fill gap between my floorboard and cabinet?

    • +1

      I don't see why not.
This is intended to be painted over though.

If it is white, I wouldn't. Even if your cabinets are white it doesn't look the best. As Ben said its intended to be painted over. Gap filler usually discolours easily. I would use something with a colour similar to your floor boards. A white smear on your floor won't look too flash but a similar colour won't be very noticeable.

If you aren't proficient using these products, get some tape and run it along both surfaces so the filler goes into the gap and stays off the floor and cabinets.
…just make sure you push the tape down and especially along the edges that will come in contact with the filler or the filler will bleed under the tape and you will lose the clean lines the tape provides

    • Better off with a timber Scotia like in this picture

Isn't life just one big gap filler until you dry?

Will this fill the gap in my life?

    • As said, you need to paint over with colours

    • This is usually only for fine cracks, large cracks require a different product :D

    • Will only paper over the cracks

no jokes about "low shrinkage" ?!

  • Van this be used to fill the deepening gaps between floor tiles?

    • +5

      …yes it Van.

    • +2

no it cant..its not ever ment to be touched or get wet. so if u walk on it, it will crumble over time. same as constant sweeping. and it it gets wet it will be mush.

      • +3

        oops i stand corrected…according to ego22:

        …no it Van't.

      • Not meant to get wet?

    • For a few dollars more go to the tile section and get a tube that is MADE to be used on the floor and with tiles

      Regrout?

Do it once, do it right. Even a hack job could do a decent job of topping up grout.

      • I suggest a power grinding instead of hand. Hand sucks.

        • Multi tool and grout removal attachment are cheap enough these days. Even a basic dremel if it was only a small section.

          Hand sucks? Mouth disagrees.

Will this work for Plumber's Crack?

    Bargain $1.90 for Powerpass

  • Tried this for a recent project. At the start, it was OK. After a while, water started dripping out and towards the end is where you get the right consistency. I returned the rest.

    • Water? From inside the tube?
