I got one of these as a free upgrade from 3. 2 big problems:
Screen is not readable outdoors. (no transflective LCD, which previous models had.)
Even in car, almost impossible.

Of course u can unlock it. Either: 1. ring telstra and they'll charge u ~50 bucks. or 2. go to saturday market (if you understand me) and spare 30 bucks. XD
