It's $1,649 just about everywhere else with postage around $10-$12 (which you could almost certainly negotiate away at this $$$) - not really a "bargain"…
I know someone who purchased a $1000 cable for stereo speaker. I guess this is a similar kind.
It looks like a microscope.
This is going to go well. I am just jumping in before it's deleted. Hi Mum!
But yeah this is not a bargain and the OP is a spammer.
Would one be qualified as a "barista" if they needed this to tamp properly? I certainly can't tamp that accurately but I assume a self proclaimed barista would.
'Bargain'?
I'll buy one for $20.
I won’t buy one because of the apostrophe.
just tamp on top of a scale and stop when it reaches "10 - 30kg" whatever you prefer.
There are pressure-sensitive pads that audibly click when a certain pressure is applied (e.g. https://alternativebrewing.com.au/product/34-1/). There are probably cheaper options elsewhere but $50 beats $1650…
Only useful for a 58.3mm portafilter.
Pity mine's a 51mm, otherwise I totally would have bought this bargain…
Maybe it's not that bad a deal as under features: "Coffee, milk froth and hot water can be dispensed simultaneously". Never heard of a double boiler automatic tamper before.
On Uber Eats a coffee costs $9 delivered. For the same amount of money you could buy home-delivered freshly-made coffee 183 times.
Then when you are drinking the 184th coffee, joke's on you.
This is a professional tool that is awesome for cafe work. But this isn't a bargain.
Commercial equipment for cafe. This is pretty much the rrp, if you have a supplier they can usually do it cheaper.
If only mccafe would buy some of these…
a true first world device
The tamp has long been the most difficult part of the coffee making process
I find it's putting in the right amount of grind, tamp is easy just push and twist.
Thank you
Absolutely correct.
I've seen some silly "bargains" on this site over the years but this might be the best of em.
Is this a joke? It's not April yet!
This seems like a tremendous amount of money for a machine that does something I can do 99.5% as well myself for $0.
