It comes with a free Kogan Mobile Prepaid Voucher LARGE (30 Days/20GB), (valued at $36.90 at checkout).

Shipping to the ACT was about $25.60.

The price is so good! So tempting!!!!!

I suggest you don't waste your money on this phone. The camera app is really glitchy, slow to launch and the front camera takes terrible pictures. Bluetooth is problematic too, lots of skips and stutters when streaming to my car :/

    • I agree. Terrible camera for a flagship phone.
Also, NFC is unusable if you use a case. And even if you don't, it just won't work at Aldi.

      No status LED.

No Android Pie for me yet either.

Great price of the what you get on paper, but I'd much rather have a midrange Chinese phone.

      • this is a chinese mid range phone …. they bought the brand name.

what is different to mant chinadroids which are made for the chinese domestic market or india are band 28 and nfc which things like poco don’t have.

        • +7

This is not a midrange chinese phone any more than an iPhone is. HMD global is not Chinese, design is not chinese, marketing is not Chinese.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMD_Global

HMD global is Finnish and made up of a bunch of ex Nokia execs with the same ethos as Nokia but using the android platform as the vehicle

It's not a midrange phone. This phone launched at $899 last year and I paid substantially more than the price here today. I figured that by paying more I'd get something better than a buggy chinadroid. I was disappointed.

I have a case on mine and use NFC everyday at the supermarket, it works fine.

The camera is fine too - it's no Apple camera but it's far better than my old Xiaomi Note

        • +2

Me too, shop at aldi with it all the time and I have no problems.

    • +1

works fine for me, no issues with bluetooth either.
have gcam also and the camera up after software update.

      • Does Gcam significantly improve the camera quality? The camera is pretty much whats holding me back at the moment.

        • to me some photos are better in duller light.
but still they wont be as good as huawei or samsung.
          in daylight they are decent.

this phone was around low 300 mark few months back, so i dunno about paying higher that it has been.

  • Officeworks also have this model, maybe with a miracle you find this in store and get it price beat for $331.5 with local warranty.

    • Not in Sydney, i checked over a month ago and nothing

  • +2

this is discontinued model. Small screen and camera reviews not good

  • TRS?

    • Yes. If you pay GST, you can claim it back.

  • the 6.1 and 7 plus are on android one pie already , this must be an old model if it ships with nougat and not oreo or pie.

  • Ha, I almost mixed up this one and Nokia 8 sirocco,….. nope… would buy it if it is sirocco …lol

    • +1

Sirroco was $550 at JB hi-fi on boxing day. At $550 i took a punt and have been happy. My only minor complaint is the flush power and volume rockers make it hard sometime to press.

      • +1

What about no memory card slot.

        • And no headphone jack.
