Apus Auction is another Shopping Square eBay store, I wouldn't be worried about buying from them on eBay for future reference.

agree. always trust apus.. they 've been in the business for lonngggg time

    • +1

Ordered mine from apus, got to my place in 4 days (melb -> bris), great service and would highly recommend!

      • Except Apus stock is sourced from China hence cheaper at the expense of warranty.

I had a SanDisk A1 literally overheat and melt not even in a dashcam just normally DSLR indoor use

    • ordered mine from apus and got refunded after 3 weeks - no delivery. item lost in transit.

      • I'm heading that way too.

        • +3

they are sneaky. i opened an ebay dispute and they sent a PM.

For the time being, we humbly request you to close the dispute case and continue to communicate with us via standard eBay message. >Please be assured that if in case the parcel has been deemed lost while in transit we guaranteed to provide you with a refund or >replacement.

          • +5

@PissLUR: I always dob sellers who do that to eBay support. I have even been offered bribes by sellers to close a dispute.

They try this too many times and eBay will shut them down.

For the benefit of eBay rookies who read this:

Never EVER close a dispute unless:

            1. You got a replacement (it's actually in your hands. Not 'promised') or

            2. You got a refund (again, it's in your bank account, not promised)

No exceptions to the above as a closed dispute can never be reopened (and shifty sellers know this)

            Caveat Emptor

@ginmi: is there a way to report to ebay?

              • +1

@PissLUR: Sure. You can call or online chat with them.

                https://www.ebay.com.au/help/home

If you are a plus member, they have a dedicated customer support team who answer extra fast (never waited more than a few seconds) and they also seem to be under very strict instructions to do whatever it takes to keep you happy.

            • +1

@ginmi: Thanks. I did this once but the seller fortunately followed through with the refund. I'll be sure not to make that mistake again.

            • +1

@ginmi: Report them no questions asked. file dispute don't close and give them poor feedback. Hold them on ransom until they pay up and refund or exchange

  • Are these ok for dashcams i read one i gave as a gift im a review samsung cards work better than SanDisk one was going to get one of these 32gb evo plus. Miuve740 is the cam i gave as gift.

    • Depends what dashcam, newer ones will have support for the 128gb cards.
I have an older one (i.e. BlackVue DR-650) which works great with the 64gb version, even though they don't technically support them (you need to reformat them as FAT32 instead of exFAT). Am going to try the 128gb

      • It's the MiVue 740

        • "Your dash camera can take a microSD card from 8GB - 128GB capacity."
          Source: Navman MiVue site

          • @MyEducation: I went for the SanDisk High Endurance Series micro sd in the end

  • +4

Wouldn't buy unless it is pack of 20.

    • +2

LMAO Amazon's "pack of 20" pricing error is becoming a meme

  • Any good for dashcam

    • +1

Perfectly fine - until it craps itself; which may or may not happen.

Use in dashcam is generally excluded under warranty claim and as such they make "Endurance" versions which are designed for the continuous recording (and heat) which 'regular' cards aren't.

Google is awash of people using 'regular' cards with no issue and others with dead cards. How hot your dasshcam (car) gets, and usage time (write cycles) will impact o your experience.

    • +1

I prefer to buy the Endurance cards - have been running Transcend and Lexar Endurance cards in mine for over a year with no worries.
When I've used "normal" cards I end up having to manually format them on a regular basis in the dashcam, which is a pain having to do before you head off, or sometimes it will happen during a trip. Worth paying a few bucks more for the Endurance type cards IMHO.

    • Avoid using in dashcams unless you really can’t afford a bit extra for the relibility. But if you gonna use it in a cheap dashcam, then it is fine. for higher and better quality dashcams, it is always recommended to use the high endurance cards, manufacture has introduced this line particularly for a reason.

  • Bought some from OW, who has dropped the price to 33 matching HN.

  • Doh.. bought sandisk extreme $43 for my gopro from amazon
Maybe this could be handy for a backup card…

  • Damn I bought for $31.12 when I saw Apus one was made in China. This one is geniune. I supported you Futu and you backfire me with a discount!?

    • So what you have stated if “made in China” are all non-genuine?

      • The ones from China are not covered by the Australian warranty known as grey imports

The ones from Korea are geniune Australian stock as far as I'm aware and the serial number and package gives it away.

Apus has this with Chinese writing therefore they are not geniune Australian stock. Someone did a screenshot and confirmed this and even tested the speed of those cards are no where near as claimed.

Limited one year warranty from sellers on China cards

        • Even the one I have bought from Officeworks are made in Phillipines, where did you get the ones from made in Korea?

  • Is this good for the DJI Spark?

  • Bought one. Thank you Zappy.

  • Thank you Zappy - got one for my incoming Nintendo New 3DS courtesy of the Amazon Boxing Day sales.
