    I added at first due to which I couldn't post the deal. Wrongly understood this deal as duplicate for Oppo R17 as both are from same seller.

  did a quick search,it has been $666 in July,$716 after almost half year is not a good buy for product like mobile phone.

    I bought one in July at $666. But that one is the blue-only from Optus with single SIM. The dual-SIM version, at that time, was about 700-ish (similar as now), and came in brown only.
    Anyway, I agree with you. 700+ is high for this phone. Pixel XL2 for $799 @JBHifi must be the better deal. In July, Pixel XL2 had just crossed the 1000 mark to $999
