Samsung Galaxy A35 5G 128GB $299 Delivered @ Telstra (Telstra ID Required)

390

Get $250 off the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G until 24 March 2025.

Requires a Telstra account, but I don't have any active Telstra services and managed to purchase it.

The phone is $399 (on sale) everywhere else and RRP is listed as $599, so I believe this is a very good price.

Pretty good price, I managed to get mine for $349 two weeks ago from JB Hi-fi.

Here before the "got it for $99" comments

    • I managed to purchase it for $99, winning.

Do phone batteries degrade if unopened for 6+ months?

        • I think it will. Will be giving to my dad soon.

        • +1

I guess they'd degrade more if you used them in those six months

is the phone locked to Telstra? If so, how much is the unlock?

  • Is this locked to Telstra ?
What about Boost or other networks?
    Any fees for unlocking?
    Appreciate some confirmation

    • A35 won't be locked , as I'm sure that model wasn't pre paid

      Micro SD slot YES! 🎉

  • Can't seem to get pass the add an account page. Don't have a service either

    • No need, just walk in to any Telstra shop and buy there, they never asked for my id

      • Yup that's what did in the end

Has anyone had success with price matching? I'd prefer not to have the bloatware.

    • +1

      What bloatware ?
Do you mean the Samsung one UI ?
As these phones don't come with any telstra apps installed, if there is my telstra app, that can be uninstalled

    • I would like to know as well, at Jb or good guys where we can use ultimate gift cards next week.

  • Yeah, need something coming up and I guess not a bad deal but I can't part with the coin for this because in my mind it can and has been had for $99. Currently looking at other phones…

The actual price was $299 with $200 voucher which brought the price down to $99. So the price was never $99 and not everyone was able to get that.

      • You could buy a $30 voucher to get the $99 phone. Most people need a port SIM anyway at some point so it pretty much was a $99 phone or close to. Total $129 with the voucher.

I get it, but i won't be buying this phone for $300. A36/A56 on the way regardless.

Pickedup from Telstra store..they confirmed its not locked and we dont need a Telstra account

    • Earn free 2990 Plus points via Reward Store. There's no cost to have an ongoing account, no service required.

      • Can also confirm this worked. Did not have an Telstra account and was not able to purchase it via the online store. Even creating a new ID requires an account number or Telstra number. Ended up just walking to the Telstra store and they offered the discounted price for outright.

        • Okay, why not mention the price? You only need to have a service once in a life time.

        • Do you have receipt you can share just incase my nearest store dont do it. Ofcourse hide ur info for privacy.

Only drawbacks being really is no headphone jack and dual SIM capability. Some might even say the exynos CPU as well as 128gb storage.

    • +3

Whinge whinge whinge. It's a cheap phone FFS. Just parroting what you hear.

  • Can anyone please advise, if Samsung A35 has USB-C video out ? I want to buy a second cheap phone for exactly this purpose.

  • How does this compare to the Motorola ozbargain favourites?

    • +1

The G84 and similar models are definitely lighter and have notably smaller bevels.

  • good deal

  • Is this confirmed to be single SIM?

    • +2

Yes, unless they've changed since my brother got one 2 months ago - single sim.

    • +1

Yes single SIM slot & no headphone jack if that matters to you.

  • There is no stock left in stores. Can i just get $2 sim become a current user and buy outright? I am after two of these.
