I noticed on Aliex that Kymco use XCTxx for some model numbers so guessed this might be made by them.
anybody use one of this brand? Was keen to get a couple for holidays, seen decent reviews for the M365 but this one basically doesn't exist online

Oh no, I saw all the comments before buying. I don't know if a Xiaomi scooter is better or safer, but as long as this one doesn't fall apart on my 5 minute trip to work I'll be happy
I'd get a refund. I have a legit m365 and it is fantastic. Get the real deal. You can flash the firmware for faster speeds and more torque. Got it for $560 on Ebay a couple or months ago.
