  Interesting that DJs are opening from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. rather than 5 a.m. to midnight 🤔 Wonder if the new EBA has anything to do with that.

    Yeah, noticed that. Also Target has moved most of their opening times from 7 to 8AM. I would say there isn't as many people who go in very early for bargains physically anymore to justify the extra spend for staff.

    South Australia for the first time is opening up early for Boxing Day. Previously, most of the shops were closed on Boxing day or open 11AM so good step in the right direction.

  The words “Up To” should be banned from Ozbargain. Just because a store has one item at 50% off does not mean they can advertise a whole sale as “UP TO 50% OFF!!!!!”

          @madmo: the fine print is so fine and because its a dodgy image slider you cannot copy and paste it

          ** Excludes items on their best buy range (how/where/what this list contains they dont seem to publish) and stuff on stork catalogue and whole lot of other stuff you probably wanted to buy

          so basically things that never go on sale will continue to be not on sale and stuff that is constantly on sale will be marked back up (some would be back to full RRP) so you can take the 20-30% off (or some minor discounts may be found)

          cant really blame them…others have just crumbled around them so we aren't really spoilt for choice e

            @humdingaling: Yup but their marketing is misleading considering the items I posted are not listed as Best Buy (eg. the Britax Millenia Car seat is listed as Best Buy on their site) nor are they even on the Stork catalogue.

            Agree, they need more competition and the independents just cannot compete.

                @humdingaling: LOL, thanks for the update. I actually purchased it off Chemist Warehouse on eBay this morning with a further 10 percent off. There are some really cheap ones on eBay at around 60 bucks but was concerned with these as might not be genuine products.

                I am guessing someone from BB is actually reading this forum!

      I just saw the banner, I can’t comment if it’s true or not.

      But go in store andpoint out the advert and the item you see that isn’t discounted and I reckon you have a case of getting it reduced. Unless they can point out where it says it’s exlcuded.

    Honestly ASOS had a 30% code around then, they don't even have one currently for Boxing day.
    Under Armour had awesome sales too, not sure what is going on atm!

    I do recall awesome sales at the DFOS in Sydney when I was there, esp on high end brands!

  So I went around the shopping centre this arvo, went to Kmart, target, H&M, uniqlo, Myer, David Jones, Coles and woolies. I wanted a high quality fluffy Santa hat but didn’t find any. I was tempted to buy some tinsel but I could get them off eBay for $1 next year. Bought nothing except two pizzas marked down to $1.79 and 2x six tarts for 60 c. H&M has some good sale items but already bought them a few weeks ago.
