wow $40 cheaper than this deal and a free google home mini too..

    • Wow they are really handing out these google home boxes left and right. Competition must be hard with Amazons Alexa.

    • Hello. The Nokia 2.1 sold be Telstra is locked to their network. This is unlocked and you can use any Network like Vodafone, Optus etc

Is this factory unlocked or did you unlock this yourself?

I see the Telstra Apps in the product image so I'm thinking is the Telstra version and has just been unlocked.

Significantly cheaper from Telstra themselves, with a Google Home Mini included for $99. If you want credit, get a $30 starter pack for $10 here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/423611

I can get a Nokia 2.1, GH Mini and $30 starter pack for $109, or 4x$30 starter packs for $139. No deal.

The Nokia 2.1 sold by Telstra is locked. This is unlocked and can be used with any network in Australia as well as overseas. We are aware they are selling the $30 sum for $10 and $40 sum for $15.
We are giving away the $40 sim for Free.

    • Needing a Telstra starter pack. How long usually it take to received form Telstra? Or do they have that in store same price?

      • found, coles this wed. 15 -for $40 telstra

Easy to remove simlock, on eBay it’s 11.50$

I got one at telstra, it’s a terrible phone, even after removing all junk and setting everything to minimum it’s still bad, can’t even run maps properly, lagging hard.

I’ll try loading some custom minimal boot loader, maybe that will help

  • Cellmate also overcharges for their Xiaomi phones too, $249 for Redmi 6A when you can grab it online yourself for $180-190 odd.

Hello. XIAOMI sells 2 versions of their models. One of them is China spec in which Google Play and other services don't work and the other is the Global Version. Most sellers online sell the China spec handsets online after re-flashing the software and these handsets can give problems at the time of a software upgrade.
Plus also note that we pay gst and duties and taxes and import these from reputable distributors overseas and sell them via retail. All our Xiaomi handsets are physically present in Australia.

Please also note that the Xiaomi Redmi 6A is not even offered as a deal here.

      • Yep and search for Xiaomi phones here on OzBargain and you'll find people already import the proper global versions from reputable distributors. People are quite thrifty here on OzBargain and do their research.
