The 3 months is just for new users, existing users get an upgrade to the Premium plan for 3 months only.
I signed up for a new account with 30 day free trial of premium, and then added the code.
It appears that it has extended my premium membership til April, but I won't know for sure until after the 30 day trial ends.
Still looks like the worst case is I'm downgraded to standard.
This could be a good workaround to get premium if you can retain the premium membership after 30 days !
Can I ask how you did this? I just tried to add the code via the ps-offer page and it said I am not eligible for this offer? I am on a 30 day trial.

game was $29 a couple of weeks ago will fall again so $5 for stan upgrade is a joke.
If that is the case, I don't find the joke very funny.
$36-$45 value included with a game for $34 is awesome.

when GOW and many other AAA 2018 games are $20 - $25 right now, $35 is too much for detroit. I would wait until it's lower, all of quantic dream games end up bargain bin very quickly
