Anyone know if the adapter will work in Australia? I know some hdd comes with the interchangeable plugs.
I've always purchased an Aussie cable when buying WD drives on Amazon. Usually at Jaycar for convenience.
I bought some MyBooks from Amazon a few months ago and they came with US plugs only.
Not sure about the WD but the Seagate i bought off them came with a bag of world power plugs.

That's like $25 or 13% difference.
FYI - Comments from Reddit mention that some of these drives have the 3.3v reset pin that needs fixing.
Molex to sata power adapters work well for them if you're shucking them for internal use
Anyone have instructions on how to open these? I'd like to put the hard drive in my NAS.
