Not sure if this warrants a post on its own (mods please delete if you consider as a duplicate), but EB Games currently offers a PS4 Pro Bundle for $499 that includes God of War, Fallout 76 and Spiderman.
If you trade in the games instantly as follows:
- God of War for $24
- Spiderman for $36
- Fallout 76 for $50
the bundle price comes down to $389.
You may get more for your trade in depending on what EB Member level you are. Attached a copy of my receipt as proof
I assumed it's store credit since I got an extra 10% for being a level 2 member, but don't quote me on this!
The highest publicly available is Level 4 which is 20% extra but then getting cash is -20%.
Getting cash is always -20% of the store credit value.
Unsure why I was downvoted. I am a Level 4 member and I mainly trade in for cash.

@Ehx: I wouldn't trade Spider-Man or God of War in. I'd keep them as they're amazing games.
But $367 is a very good price for the Pro.
Trading in items from a deal is essentially buying the whole deal, then trading the games back to EB for credit (but all in one transaction). Seeing as the whole value is used instantly, it's never saved as store credit (and all EB World trade bonuses still apply).
I doubt those trade-in values are cash.
Trade-in values are store credit only as per NSW policy. If they're used instantly to buy a PS4, it doesn't matter anyway seeing as you're using the credit in the same transaction.
I can confirm the trade in value is cash. So I only had to pay 414 for ps4 pro plus god of war which i kept.

Ask to trade the games straight in for the store credit off of your purchase. Most stores will do that. It's effectively trading in for a discount as if you already owned the games in the bundle
Going off the receipt the eb guy has traded them in first as you see the total below of what he paid.
Hmmm, best out at the moment. Might wait and see what offers come over the weekend, if not I'll be going with this.

@Imhereforcomments: Worked for JB and Sony has a training portal quoted my best sales pitch in 25 words or less for a competition the top 20 won a ps pro I came 2nd just missed out on first which came with a vr kit and games etc but still very happy. Also won about 7 pairs of sony headphones, a mini muteki, a $400 sony speaker/soundbar and $400 dali home theater speakers :) so it pays to do free training in the work place lol

actually it's quieter but hotter.
There is a very minor difference with the latest models (CUH-7216B, CUH-7116B) which apparently have better cooling.
The newer model is significantly quieter. My current Pro sounds like a mini jet engine after a little bit of play, especially on warmer days.

I picked one up from a big JBHIFI (online buy and pick up) and wanted the 7200 model. After asking 3 unfriendly staff I eventually found someone willing to answer my question and I was pleased to learn it was the newer quiter version.

just surprised how spiderman's still trading in for 36 considering how cheap it is retailing for currently, and with fallout 76 getting bad reviews there may be a chance the trade in prices lower drastically. Was wondering if there was a possible EB games staff member lurking so that's why I asked :)
Yeah same I traded AC origins for BFV got $25 trade credit plus bonus 10% extra and amazon is selling it for $19 new for black friday.

It's to do with how much pre-owned stock there is. I've been trading at EB for a decade before I found this out a few months ago. God of War traded in for $40 pre-EB World bonus over a month after release. When I asked why it was so high, that's when they told me.

FYI - I recently exchanged a faulty PS4 PRO and got another one out of a God of War bundle box.

You can get the PS4 pro with Spiderman for about $399 for those with the Sony store amex offer saved and using cashrewards.
Sony store has it out for $489.95 and the amex offer is spend $300 get $50 back. Cashrewards have 9% cashback on Sony site.
So by my reasoning that's $489.95 - $50 = $439.95 and then cashback on the pre GST amount knocks an extra $40 off so all up roughly $399.95.
Then if you wanted you could trade Spiderman in for $36.

That I do not know. I've done the trade in for a cheaper price thing a few times but never returned what I ended up getting as a result.
I had a PS4 Pro for about 6 months it was ok but not as good as powerful as Xbox one X. Sold PS4 pro purchased Xbox one X and PS4 slim and Nintendo switch. Best.combo
Not sure why so many Negs as this is basically my setup and I agree. Xbox for third party titles, Switch for exclusives and portability and PS4 for Sony exclusives. Only missing out on the performance modes on Sony exclusives ultimately.

Thankyou for you tip. I had already ordered it from bigw online cause Im afterpaying. Read the afterpay fine print on bigw website & refunds are done through afterpay but exchanges with difference onto giftcards is possible. So when I was picking it up I got them to price match so ended up paying about $400. So thankyou for helping me save an extra $20. They stuck it on a returns card so can be used at bigw or woolies.
