Hi, its a steam station, with the base unit producing steam so it's more powerful and faster to iron vs a standard iron, as it can produce more steam quicker.
Once you use a steam station to iron with you would never go back to using a regular iron, they are too slow ;)
Probably why it's so cheap. Looking at some of those reviews, I'd wait and see what else happens at the end of the week.
As for the type of Iron, I'd say it produces a butt load of steam to make ironing a lot easier.
I have been looking at one of these types of irons myself for a bit, but not this one, not with those reviews.
guess it steams the milk also?

Is this just an Iron or is it specifically steam iron? Used for specific purposes / clothing?
I need a new iron but just for work shirts etc, is this appropriate?
