10 more weeks until the iphone 5… :P

      hmmm…weird 4 + and 1 - , yet net total is 2+

      • +4

        maybe it was a BIG -ve… :)

Multiple votes from the same IP do not count. The users will still show with a green icon next to their name, but the net total will not include them (afaik).

  • ABN or ACN on your website would be nice.

Also having a sign that says "Think of US" would be nice as well
    http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=42+George+Street%0AClyde+NS…
(Obviously Google Street view may not have updated for a while)

There are so many dodgy iPhone sellers out there, so you need to make sure your offer is perceived (and actually is) as legimate

    • Thank you for your feedback & it is very much appreciated.

  • Information on ABN is listed in About Us page. The google map we have a listing there under Think of Us already. And the picture there is fairly old I can say with confidence.

    waiting for iphone 5

still a good price though because iphones hold their value very well. even first iphone goes for $200 and iphone 3g goes for about $400-$450.

      how is this bad?

      • perhaps because you link to a finished auction with only 1 available

    rip-OFF

      totally agree.

  • Not trying to troll, but I'm genuinely interested to know if anyone would consider buying an ip4 at this time (and price) when ip5 is so close with (reported) significantly improved feature set?

Especially given that (by most accounts) the pricing will be similar!

    • +3

I agree in a sense, but I also think the same thing will happen with iPhone 6. It'll be released 9 months later and people will talk about it being a significant improvement, so better to just wait.

      • +1

I suppose the big difference is that the ip4 will be superseded in a matter of weeks IIRC; so I agree Ash, my thinking would be to wait at this point.

I think the main thing that interested me is how low would the price have to go before the average iphone user would go for a 4th gen over waiting for the 5th?

The 'bargains' around ATM seem to be ~$850-900ish for ip4, but I can't see ip5 selling for much over $1k-ish…I don't imagine Apple's pricing policies would be helping nervous resellers ATM either! ;)

          I'd do it for 600 (on a 32gb)

    • These is absolutely no reports about the iPhone 5 yet, so I have no idea what you are talking about. Not one thing has been said about it, there has not even been any dodgy rumours.

      • Google is clearly busted on your machine cakesy, go to a friend's house that has the googleweb & do a search! ;)

        • Ok, I could respond to each link on google, but there is apparently 1.6 billion of them.

"one person said it would be a different form factor"… this is what reporters write when they do not know anything. Who cares what one unknown person says, what a safe thing to say.

"There might be a cheaper version, or there might not be."

          "A white iphone"

          "A metal back"

Come on, these are just stupid, they do not say anything, and are not proper rumours. Real rumours will start to come out closer to the announcement, these are just some bored journalist trying to fill their quota.

          There's others dude, look harder…I'll give you a hint…dual-core something, bigger something…

I'd recommend a nap first though, you clearly are sleep deprived! :)

yeah well every 12 months there is a new phone. I have made do with my 3G for almost 3 years now and im still happy with it. Just gets a bit slow for a few of the games and I would like to have HD video recording. All iphones you still get the same experience some just have a few differences like faster processer or better camera, nothing major. Not worth upgrading every 12 months but perhaps every 2-3 years.

    • Yeah, but if you had any sense, you would have sold your phone each year, bought a new one, and would have been almost break even. Maybe you enjoy using old technology? (Not that there is anything wrong with that, I am typing this on a old typewriter connected to an oscilloscope.)

Hear that slap, yes the distinctive sound of a facepalm! Is this a different person using cakesy's account? Seriously!

Look dude, your comments have never been exactly brilliant, but today's efforts here have been stunningly dumb! :o

        • +2

Yeah, bored and not much sleep. What do you want, the next Australia novel?

Anyway, my point stands, you can keep up, sell your last phone, and cover the costs. Not that you have to, and it is way better to just be content with what you have.

        • +1

Lol, good call! Yes I'd like all of your future comments to begin with "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times"!

And if I see "worst" replaced with "blurst" I'll know it's not you & that you've been relying on that hundred monkeys at a hundred typewriters in your basement! ;)

FWIW, your point is somewhat valid for many consumer items like cars, bikes etc…but IME you can usually only mitigate the costs, not cover them! ;)
