  • Just got a message. They are now offering roaming

That's great news but bit disappointed about it being $15 per day. Was hoping it'd be similar to Vodafone's $5 per day.

      • True. $15/day is insane.

Truly looking after their customers, Kogan deserve my money

Compatible with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/423504 for 10% off the ebay price (which is admittedly a little higher). Worked out to be a very small ($10) saving for the 40gb plan.

  • Any luck with refunds?

Canceled my 99c deal a few days before recharge, removed cc, yet somehow still got charged 49.90 !! Not looking forward to the multiple phone calls I know this will take to fix…

I took the SIM card out straight away to avoid any usage and rang up. The customer service rep refunded my money straight away.

  • if our plan expires two months later, what happens if we buy one of these plans? starts straightaway or after the expiration of the current plan?

    • The link specifies that the voucher (used either for new account or recharge) "expires at 11:59pm AEDT on 28/02/2019."

So you must recharge your existing account by that specified time or lose the use of the voucher. Of course, that means you may be overlapping a period of time you have already paid for. That doubling up period is just lost.

Ps. Ring and check if you are eligible for a discount from Kogan when your existing account comes up for renewal. I received an unexpected email offering me $152.10 to recharge a "small" 365 day prepaid account with them (falling due 25 January), after I had already paid $161.82 for the above offer. (I did not receive a similar email for a "large" plan that needed recharging on 7 January though. We decided to recharge with a "medium" for that one).

I have one other 365 day "medium" account with Kogan that falls due in May so will wait to see what offers are available then, rather than lose by overlapping 3 months. Last year there was a "2 for 1" deal so I shared the $299.90 cost with another.

      • Thank you. I have received a personalized email too to renew my plan. I'll do it i guess.

what happen to those kogan gift cards? no longer works?

    • it does. what are you on about?

      • +1

try to search gift cards on ebay and can't find it and heard it somewhere doesn't work any more…last year tried gift cards and happy with it bring the price down to $11x which makes $8-$9 per month on small plan.

        • It still works as the plans are listed on kogan.com

But there aren't any discounted Kogan giftcard deals atm. You can check the classifieds though as there are a lot of off loaders from the ebay UK deal trying to make a few dollars.
