  Wouldn't it be better to see your mum in person, instead of sending some over-priced card with an insipid pre-printed mass produced sentiment? FFS if you can't be there, write a proper letter.
  Hallmark are the scum who invent "holidays" purely for the purpose of selling their trash.
  Eh - maybe some mums really like the card and are not just being polite. The same mums who collect Franklin Mint?

    Actually, their cards are really good. You can write your own message in them.
    I ordered one when they had that free valentines day card offer and they allowed you to modify the text in there. How awesome is that.

    GF was mighty impressed

  Last time I order from Hallmark the 'smart' staff used the actual hallmark envelop to mail me the card despite I ordered it as I will send the card myself later though lol, so I end up with a card but no envelop after I opened it

  Last time my order did not arrive from Hallmark. Very bad handling on postage. Even though it was free for valentines, they still should show their service is up to scratch so ppl would pay for it. Very disappointed, they reposted but did not make it in time. Only realised on the day didnt get after 1 week. Not recommending hallmark at all! Sounds good on paper, you might not end up getting a card for your mum!

    I have ordered from Hallmark a couple of times now. They have always been great, until this last Valentine's. My card was delivered late which was very disapointing! Now I have a card that can't be used… until maybe next year, assuming I'm with the same person LOL

    But generally my experience has been good, I would recommend ordering with sufficient time before you need the card.

      I order a couple of times too from Hallmark and have been completely fine. I ordered one during the free period and didn't need it till a month later and it came on the day I asked it to arrive.

      Unfortunate for you neolight that you must have been the odd one or two that got their order messed up.

      But for me everything was perfect and quality was fantastic!

  Mine got their perfectly. However i'm sure a lot didn't. Unfortunately when something depends on Australia post.. anything could happen LOL

  thanks for the post. two for one is better than nothing i supposed. at least it eases some of my disappointment of missing out on the free valentine card last time round.
