I'm a bit nervous about ordering a TV shipped interstate… anyone have experience?
I got one shipped from videopro 1 or 2 months ago, package came overnight, they're well packaged inside the box and come via Courier (TNT for me overnight to Sydney).
They even called before leaving the depot which was good.
My experience is only anecdotal, however these guys have done thousands of orders so you'd think they know how to ship a Tv.

I ordered a 40 inch TV from Videopro in 2012. Got sent to WA for free.
You might be able to try a courier company that will pick the tv up and deliver it to your home. You can enter the pick up and delivery addresses on their booking website.
To be fair, $77 for a tv is pretty good. A comparatively small item like a T-shirt or hard drive can be $10-$20
