    • Got my voucher emailed to me too. Do we have to use it all at once?

    • Can we use the voucher to buy anything on amazon?

    • even when you add as promo code, the remaining amount will still be kept in your account.

  • Still waiting on my voucher and prime rebate so I called CommBank.

They informed me that the $500 spend needs to be on amazon.com.au ? That can't be right?

    • Anywhere, just wait patiently, else call them :)

    • Wrong. $500 spend does not need to be with Amazon. I got the voucher and didn't spend a cent with Amazon. Already used the voucher code and $200 is just sitting in my Amazon account as gift card balance.

  • Can you still earn cashback when paying with gift card balance? (Assume no)

    From https://www.shopback.com.au/amazon-australia
"Cashback is not qualified for: Purchases paid with gift cards/Amazon credit"

If you buy the "Bose noise-masking sleepbuds" https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/433662 and then return them within 30-day risk-free trial will you get a cash refund? (even if you partially paid using a gift card)

  • What happens if you already have Amazon Prime? I just upgraded to 12 months yesterday. Would it stack and give me 24 months? I'm not quite clear on how it works.

Also for me, I may qualify for $0 annual fee since my homeloan is with CBA and the package includes a free credit card (fee waived), I just never opted for one. So this could be a good deal for me.

Especially now the $500 spend-anywhere has been confirmed. Car rego and insurance on the way. Done.

  • Question, when is the $59 annual fee charged?

Is it when you open the account or after 12 months (ie can you cancel and avoid it)

    • +1

It is charged in the first statement

      • Thanks.
