Spend $1,000 or More in a Foreign Currency & Get $100 Latitude Rewards @ Latitude 28 Degrees Mastercard (Activation Required)

For those that still have their 28 Degrees Card I received an email from 28 Degrees/Latitude Credit Cards with a bonus of $100 latitude rewards if I spend $1000aud equivalent in a foreign currency over the next 3 months. Might be targeted? Might be for all latitude credit cards? Seems like a reasonable deal if you’re purchasing something from overseas or currently holidaying overseas.

  • I got offer for $200 for $5,150. Some real random number generator they got going on there.

  • Maybe it’s based on your credit limit. Mine is very low - $1500.

    • Not likely -as my limit is way above that.

  • Mine is Black Friday offer which came through on 1st Oct, don't need to spend overseas but ends on 31/12.

    From upcoming holidays, through to Black Friday bargains, 

    Spend $5k or more for $200 but my limit is $3.5k lol

  • 8 monthly fee has been introduced on these cards - I've just started the process to cancel mine.

  • Nothing here. 3k limit and had the card for many years.

  • These utter morons are now adding a notification in a pink box on the website banking platform that reads the following:
    Confirm bank account details
    You have bank accounts that must be verified before payments can be made

    Then there's a Confirm button which leads absolutely nowhere you can do anything except watch an endless set of three bouncing blue balls that never end up doing anything.

    And the best bit is that seemingly now with this pink message on the website portal, no purchases can be made with your card either at all. All online purchases I've tried to make using the 28° card since this pointless message appeared are getting rejected with no reason given. Of course you can't contact them outside office hours on a weekend to find out what the hell's going on, because paying $8 month card SERVICE fee of course doesn't cover that. You pay a fee for SERVICE and they provide none. Isn't that the way of the modern world in a teacup?
