Re new chromecast:
So sounds like the base model will have voice activation, bluetooth and 5ghz wifi. However, a premium bundle will be bundled with a speaker.
That doesn’t really appeal to me
For those who don't know this 2nd gen is now price dropped to $49 RRP because they just released the 3rd gen starting at $59 RRP
Was going to finally get one as I have a $10 ebay voucher. But this deal is no longer available.

You may want to hold off on this now because google just released the gen 3 which retails for $59. The Good Guys may list the new gen 3 in the coming days for the same price.

the good guy's normal website lists it for $49 now. so too Myer, DJ and Harvey Norman. OW will price match these.
